February 29 brings us an extra day this year -so we want to celebrate this leap year in NBRC style with a reading challenge! ( Why not? It's an extra day to read!)

Duration: one month from start date

Levels:
Leap: 1-8 books
Hop: 9-17 books
Jump: 18-26 books
Spring: 27 + books

Option #1- Spell out(*) the word " Leap Year"

Option #2- Complete as many tasks as you can from the list below: (tasks may be completed more than once)
★Read a book that has 29 in the page number ( i.e. -129, 229, 329, etc)
★Read a book that the title starts with L
★Read a book that is 4th in a series
★Read a book by an author that has written more than 29 books
★Read a book published in February ( of any year)
★Read a book with the word "leap " in the text
★Read a book that is #29 in a series or higher

Option #3- Mix & match- combine tasks from any or all of the options.

(*)Spell-it-Out Rules
Using the first letter in the book’s title, the first letter of the series name, the first letter in the author’s first or last name, or the first letter of a character’s first, last, or nick-name, or the first letter in the audio book narrator's first or last name.
If you are reading a translated version, you can also use the first letter of the translator's first or last name.

As always, if the first letter of a title starts with ‘A’, ‘An’, ‘The’, etc., you may use the first letter of the second word in the title to spell out your chosen word.

If you backdated it to 1 Feb then you have until the 29th Feb. If you started on the 3rd Feb then 3rd March 3rd works! If you need more time don't forget about the NBRC giftcards!
