Can you believe fall is already here? I sure can. It’s gotten nippy lately, but that’s what you can expect from this season. The other day I had SUCH a time trying to get clothes hung out on the clothesline - it was THAT windy! I tell you, I was so frustrated that I actually scolded the wind! 😳
I know, I know, dumb. Not to mention I was sure that God must be trying to teach me a lesson since I was in a bit of a bad mood before I went out to hang clothes. If so, he sure had the right idea! But I don’t blame Him, ‘cause I know I deserve it.
Anyway, do you have anything I can pray for you? If you have any prayer requests big or small, I’ll be more than delighted to pray about them. No matter if you’re a Christian or not, or if you don’t believe the same way I do - just don’t be afraid to ask me to pray for you. And you don’t have to tell exactly what the prayer request is about (if either it’s personal or you just don’t want to - I’ll bring it anyway to the One who DOES know what it’s about).
And that goes for anyone of the LGBTQ community. I may be straight as all get out, but I definitely am not self-righteous or stuck-up toward you. I’m no better than anyone, much less you. So if you have anything you want me to pray about, don’t hesitate to lay it before me.
Love you guys and the good Lord give you a fantastic week!
❤️

You have to be from the South. I have not hung clothes outside for ages. Have a great day.

And thank you Ashlynne for including everyone in your prayers. Just pray for world peace. And health

I'm so sorry about Chadwick Bosman's death. He was just too young.
Be safe, Everyone!!

Winter is my least favorite season. I actually moved to Virginia from New England because of the winters. Too much snow! And the cold lasts far too many months. I like still having the change of seasons, but with a much less intense and shorter winter.

Here in TN, it doesn't start to get cold until the last of Oct. or in Nov. About every three years, we get hit with a bit of snow and ice. And like you, I much prefer a shorter winter.
Tammy, I've come to appreciate the fall season. It's not too hot. It's not too cold. The weather can be so perfect. The AC is off so your electric bills will be the lowest it's going to be that year-LOL.

In New England it gets colder sooner and lasts longer. It seems to be about 20º colder in the winter and when it snows you get a lot more. Not always, but there were many years where my kids had to wear winter jackets under their Halloween costumes and I know we've passed on early season (early April) baseball tickets because it would be too cold in the evenings.
The summer temperature isn't too much different, but it is much more humid here in Virginia. I still have a hard time with that. The air can get really heavy and thick feeling. Also, the sun is stronger, so even though it might not be hotter temperature-wise, you may still burn easier.

We miss winter. The temps rarely hit 0C round here and if there is any hint of snow we rush up into the mountains to catch sight of it.

I like that we still get snow in this area. We don't get a lot or get it often, but every winter we do get some.

Winter here it is often abt 30c mid-morning then it rains and the temp drops by 10-15 degrees and then an hour later the rain stops, the sun comes out from behind a cloud and the temps go back up again.

Is anyone doing anything to celebrate Halloween this year? I sent a box of goodies to my grandson, but have no other plans. Maybe I'll watch a Halloween movie. I think it's time for Hocus Pocus. :)

That sounds good. I'm currently doing the same, except with Shadow Sands. :) I was hoping to have it finished this month, but it looks like I'm going to finish it in November.

Happy November to you!
Perhaps plenty of time to catch up with what I lost on October ...

Thanks to Christine who celebrates every month and reminds us to celebrate life.
HAVE A SAFE WEEKEND, EVERYONE. IF YOU CAN, HUG YOUR LOVED ONES. IF YOU CAN'T, CALL THEM. THIS VIRUS IS NO JOKE!!

If you like royal historical fiction, Philippa Gregory is an amazing author. She has quite a few books and a few series on the side. I recommend the following: The Other Boleyn Girl; The Kingmaker's Daughter; Three Sisters, Three Queens; The Boleyn Inheritance. I hope this helps!

Hope everything is going well for you, Groovy, and you aren't dealing directly with the virus aside from the standard precautions, etc. It really is a horrible mess.
