Up With the Larks: Starting Again in Cornwall by Tessa Hainsworth
A non-fiction look at a family's sea-change from London to Cornwall - sweet read. Will eventually do a review but am a bit behind right now with them.

Since I'm flying to Seattle tomorrow for six days, and my photo finish for this challenge has all but evaporated, I'm going to finish the other two books in the series, and then start with my second 3. Australia Day, Singing the Dogstar Blues.
Woohoo!!!! You loved it!! So glad:) And congratulations on completing your challenge Janine!!! Great effort:)

Nice work. It's a shame when you get a couple of duds. I didn't like Skipping Christmas when I read it either. I skipped right to the last page and was glad I hadn't read the whole thing.

LOL - I absolutely LOVED it! Is one of a handful of books I re-read and I've watched the movie a zillion times. I guess it is because I SO relate to it - my idea of a great Christmas is no family - just hubby and I locked away from the madding crowd for 24 hours - bliss :)

It's my first ever book by Brandon Sanderson Phrynne so I am really looking forward to it. Might have to have my own mini-readathon this weekend!

Lol! I'm always happiest when starting a new series of big, excellent books! And then there's Mistborn to look forward to as well :)

A veritable smorgasbord! I really like The Rithmatist - it's theoretically a kid's book, but I think it's great.
Carolyn wrote: "Certainly going to give it a go Brenda! (Might not get onto my second dystopian for the month. Oh well, can't have it all!)"
You've read one for the February challenge Carolyn...that's fine;)

Thanks Brenda :-) I'm quite surprised that I got so much reading done during the school holidays, I thought the kids would be driving me crazy. Although I admit I did have to do most of my reading very late at night once I was determined to do the whole challenge and finish it!
