Kerri_M | 590 comments Just finished The Road to Winter by Mark Smith

YA, AA, dystopian, 1st in a series. Quite good, if you like that kind of thing. Which I do. The only thing I didn't like was that apparently, even in the future, after the apocalypse . we are still going to be treating asylum seekers like shyte :(. But that is more a reflection on Australia than on the book.

The Road to Winter (Winter, #1) by Mark Smith ★★★☆

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments Graphic novels bring the classics to life for the visual generations. Gareth Hinds has a new take on Homer's great story, The Iliad. Historic, artistic, and detailed - for young and old. I enjoyed it!

Carolyn | 9836 comments Thanks to Simon & Schuster, I received a copy of Hunting Evil (Robert Hunter, #10) by Chris Carter Hunting Evil by Chris Carter to read. Number 10 in his popular Robert Hunter series is was a very compulsive thriller featuring a particularly evil escaped psychopath out for revenge for his capture.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9974 comments While I do like to read good literary fiction, my brain can’t cope with a diet of only that, so I freely admit that my bedside read is usually a romance of the “Mills & Boon” variety. Some of those are surprisingly good, and in that category, Her Sister's Baby by Alison Fraser is a 5 ★ read for me. Her female leads are very good at cutting put-downs for arrogant males.
