Morgan | 19 comments So, in 2018, my first time attempting a reading challenge, I set it at what I thought was an ambitious goal - 50 books. I've kind of exceeded that by a bit - sitting at 305 right now - so I'm going to set my goal for 250 for 2019 as I'll be teaching more and will have less time.

Note: I'm an elementary teacher and teacher-librarian and so read a lot of kids' books in French and English. Picture books obviously can be read fairly quickly so that can make the totals climb faster. But I'm wanting to keep reading the classics and adult reads as well.

I'm looking forward to setting myself some content goals as well as the total number. While I love following a set challenge, I also enjoy following my own goals as well.

Kadijah Michelle (kadmich) | 2174 comments I love that you are a school librarian. My father used to be one, and I remember going in and helping him sort all the children's books before he retired.

Please be sure to share your favorite children's books because even though I'm an adult many years over, I love a good picture book!

Morgan | 19 comments Q3 book challenge

For this challenge, we are tackling our TBR piles and TBW lists collectively. Choose a book or books that have been adapted for either a television series, movie, limited series, or streaming feature. Read the book and then watch the adaptation. Tell us how many book/adaptation combos you will be reading/watching for this challenge. For series with multiple seasons, you do not have to watch all the seasons (but feel free to binge away) - just let us know how many episodes you intend to watch for the challenge. Happy reading and viewing!

I'll try for 4.
