McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae spat in his face, no powers fine. But that didn't mean she wasn't going to fight till one of them was dead. "You can just go to hell...oh wait that's the prime vacation spot for you!" She hissed angrily, if she wasn't tied up she'd rip him to shreds.

Damon chuckled "oh look the worm does have a backbone." He enveloped her in his wings and stuck them both in this dark basement of a were house.

message 52: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch chuckled. "You're right." He said, amused. Some how the angel's anger was funny to him. Seeing as how graceful and peaceful they were supposed to be. He followed Damon into the house, shutting the door after them all.

Lexi struggled and kicked all the way, not liking the direction they were walking in. Where on earth were they taking them? She didn't want to go to wherever that was. "Yeah, I do. Unlike someone else I know." She glared pointedly at him. "Where am I? Where is this? What are you going to do to me?"

message 53: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae hated the humor in his eyes and how he thought this was hilarious she bit him hard when he got close enough, she wasn't a pure angel and she knew it. Mum was a demon at least what she's heard, but she hated them! There was no light in this place except a tiny window that was giving a ray showing her new friend "don't hurt her...she's not anything you want, just a lower rank newbie let her go!"

Damon didn't answer he just chained her to the wall and smirked at her "now why would I give away all the fun surprises?" He yanked back her hair so she would look at him "when I'm done with you, you are going to wish I killed you quickly."

message 54: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch jerked his bitten hand away and swore. "No. She's not anything I want. But I'm sure Damon will have some fun with her." He smiled again. This was wonderfully fun for him. Excitement after a boring year. "But, honey, I think I will have some fun with you." He said softly, his eyes glowing orange in the dim light.

Lexi struggled against her chains, trying desperately to get away from him. She had turned her face away when he yanked on her hair, pulling her face towards his. That sparked that fire in her. She hated being touched that way by others. Pain, she could do. But fondling, that gave her nightmares, because of her stupid past... She glared at him, any ounce of fear in her eyes gone. "Oh you think so, do you? Well then why don't you just get started, and quit with the pretty words. Unless you are too wimpy to actually hurt a girl." She hissed, jerking on her chains again to try and get at him. Hurry up and start with the pain and stop touching me like this. She thought to herself.

message 55: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae growled hating pet names, she hated that smile, she hated him! She thrashed against her chains head butting him hard in the chest "kill me then you pathetic coward!" She snapped and yanked on the chains threatening to pull them out of the wall.

Damon slammed the door that separated the two rooms. He smiled and caressed her face sensing she hated it "such a pretty little thing..." He purred and yanked out her wing and broke it "you're too strong...I'm going to make you weak..." He pecked her hair mockingly.

message 56: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch backed up when she head butted him, still smiling. He really was enjoying getting her mad. The angrier she was, the more he enjoyed it. "Oh so eager." He teased, running his hand through her long hair slowly. "I will, don't worry. All in good time." He moved over to her and held his hand against the chain around her wrist. "I am sure you are aware that I can heat these up?" He asked. "I will until there is nothing left of your wrists... unless you stop struggling. Your struggles are... tiresome."

Lexi visibly flinched and started writhing against her chains, struggling furiously to get away from him. He was tearing her inside, tearing apart the wall sh had so carefully put up years ago. Memories were threatening to flood through. She barely noticed when he tore off her wing and broke it. But her other one started flapping frantically. "No you wont." She whispered, closing her eyes and shuddering. Her lips pinched together in a thin line of grim determination. Determination not to break.

message 57: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae glared at him "I don't need wrists...no wrists means that I can't be chained...so choose wisely, I'm not scared of you..." She snarled whipping her hair out of his grasp and started yanking the chains again trying to weaken the structure of the wall. Angels were not weak beings against popular belief...she wasn't going to surrender ever.

Damon grinned, he found her weakness...pain wasn't an issue, being fondled however...he caressed her cheek and down her jaw kissing her pretty little neck "what's wrong baby?..." He cooed mockingly and ran his hand down her slender waist. Too easy, very much enjoyable.

message 58: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch laughed softly. "Stubborn, aren't you?" He heated up her chains just enough to burn her skin, but not enough to start melting her. "I never asked you to be scared of me sweetheart." He said softly, leaving her for a second, before returning with a knife. It was a dark knife, black in color. He smiled and held it up. "I'm sure you recognize it?" He walked over to her and pressed the knife against her wrist, drawing a fine red line on her. Her blood dripped once from the wound. "Every time I draw blood with this... you weaken. It's a painful way to die, granted. But an effective one."

Lexi squirmed against his hand, thrashing her head side to side. She scrunched up her face, screwing her lips together, determined not to beg. She wouldn't resort to that. She couldn't respond to him, too afraid that her voice would betray her. Then he kissed her and moved his hand down her side and Lexi squeaked in surprise, struggling harder than she ever had, trying to get away from his hand. Blood trailed down her wrists from where the shackles had cut into them. Her walls were starting to crumble.

message 59: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae didn't even flinch as she felt the hot metal singe her skin, she watched him leave in the darkness and come back with the one tool that turned her fiery blood to ice. She was scared, she watched him come closer and closer till she felt the sharp stinging pain against her wrist and a drop of blood splashed to the floor, she involuntarily hissed and winced.

Damon smirked and used the knife in his hand to cut the lower part of her shirt and he touched the skin that was exposed "the more you thrash...the more access I get." He slashed a stripe on her pale stomach watching her thrash from his hand.

message 60: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch nodded, satisfied. He brought the knife to her face, gently running it along her cheek, but not hard enough to break the skin. "I can keep going, if you plan on struggling." He whispered, smiling a little, but this time it was not out of amusement. It was cold.

Lexi kept thrashing when he slashed off part of her shirt. She couldn't let him do this. She couldn't. It was only when she felt him cut her skin that she stiffened and stilled. She sucked in her gut and pressed the small of her back against the wall, trying to get her stomach as far away from him as possible. Her walls cracked further, only held together by her determination now, and that would not last.

message 61: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae felt the scratch of the blade but still she wasn't going to give up! Seeing that smile though is what really sealed the deal she spit in his face right between the eyes and banged against the wall wanting it to crack! She felt the opposite walls tremors...good girl she was thinking!

Damon watched the wall crack and ripped off her other wing so she had no real means of escape. He stared at the wall his eyes glowing red as the heat sealed it together, everything the new wall touched would be scorched and seared. He chuckled and ran his hand down her thigh and leg "beg me to stop little girl."

message 62: by Lara (last edited Jun 05, 2014 10:22AM) (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch wiped off her spit casually, digging the knife harshly into her shoulder, plunging it halfway up to the hilt. He knew he was weakening her at an alarming rate, by how much blood was pouring out of her. He also knew that she was in a good deal of pain. But honestly? He didn't care. "I told you not to struggle." He growled.

Lexi learned that the wall was hot the hard way. Her back hit it and she jerked in surprise, immediately pulling away from it. Now both her wings were gone, her back was burnt, and her wrists were raw flesh from struggling, but she didn't notice. All she was aware of was his hand like fire on her leg. His touch was sending her past sanity. She was stuck, between him and the wall, with no where to go. She tightened her lips when he asked her to beg. "No!" She shrieked, closing her eyes and shaking her head back and forth frantically. "No I wont!" She stammered, her voice high pitched, evidence of her emotional trauma.

message 63: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae crumbled crying out in real pain for the first time, she felt it hot and cold down into her arm numbing the nerves and paralyzing the arm. She panted feeling herself become exhausted, blood was running down her front and back. But she still managed to glare at him and cut him deep with her fingernails when he got close enough to gloat.

Damon smirked at the torture he was putting her through, without even having to get himself dirty with her blood. He moved his hand higher and forcefully kissed her on the lips drawing blood with his sharp teeth "beg!"

message 64: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch looked over at the bloody nail marks she had left in his hand as they slowly healed. "Lucky that I heal, isn't it?" He asked, turning his gaze back to her. "Too bad you don't." He yanked the knife out of her, satisfied that she obviously was too weak to struggle any longer. He heated up his hand and cauterized the flesh in her shoulder. "There. Now you won't get weaker, but you wont get stronger either."

Lexi felt his hand move higher and at the same time, he kissed her, hard. That sent her mental walls crashing down. She broke. She screamed against his lips, trembling violently, jerking to try and get her head away. "Stop!" She gasped, the tears slipping down her cheeks finally. "Stop! Please stop." She slumped against the chains, her head hanging in defeat.

message 65: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae still managed to glare but she couldn't do much more, she felt drained and feverish blood sticking to every service...her blood. She blinked at the black dots starting to dance in front of her eyes and shook her head still trying to fight she yanked on the chains slamming her arm against the wall making the cracks wider.

Damon smirked and nodded feeling satisfied that he broke her, she was submissive and he was in control. He pulled away going to his and Torch's desk of torture and looked for something simple yet painstaking. He picked up a wrist band that looked like a tricked out watch, he came back and strapped in to her wrist, the pins digging in her skin "every hour that goes by...the pins will deepen and draw blood. The more you move the faster the clock goes."

message 66: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments "Ah ah ah." Torch scolded, running his hands over the wall to sear the cracks shut. "We don't want that." He crooned. He held up the knife. "Do that again and this goes deeper." he whispered. "or did you already forget?"

Lexi kept her head down, her eyes glazed over. She couldn't feel pain. She was numb. She was broken in side. "I honestly don't care." She whispered, being completely honest. He could kill her for all that mattered. Her mind was somewhere else. It was watching as memories were replaying over and over in her mind. Ones way more painful than what she was experiencing. One about a stranger, and a night she had tried so hard to forget.

message 67: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae let out a sigh of desperation in her mind, she was getting somewhere...she was making progress! She glanced at her raw and burnt wrist on the arm that was paralyzed and viciously started to gnaw and tear away flesh making it so she should slip her hand out! She ignored the knife and his orange flashing eyes in the dark she was on the brink of desperation!

Damon watched her curiously, why did pain not bring any emotion but physical touch made her break and go desperate?...he didn't know what to do! How was he to feel pleasure in this when the stupid feeling of pity was blocking his rational thoughts!

message 68: by Lara (last edited Jun 05, 2014 11:17AM) (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch watched her, curious. "Oh so desperate." He whispered. "That arm is paralyzed, what on earth did you plan on doing with it once you got it free?" He asked, tipping his head. "But. Because I am the only one who has the right to hurt you, I can not allow this." he got a rag and tied it securely around her mouth - gagging her.

Lexi felt him staring at her, and she fidgeted, hating his gaze. She grew uncomfortable and looked up at him at last. "What are you waiting for?" She whispered, her eyes filled with pain. But it was not pain that he had caused, but pain from the past. "You can not torture me and get the results you want. I already am in far much more pain then you could ever imagine." She hissed, her head hanging limply against her chest again. "So just kill me. Kill the pretty little angel you caught. But know, you're just smashing something that was already broken to begin with." she finished.

message 69: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae fought against the horrid tasting rag, an involuntary sob came from her throat. She was running out of options, out of plans! The only way out was death she came to that grim conclusion, she slumped to the floor letting her head bounce painfully and shut her eyes praying for some miracle to die quicker.

Damon folded his arms leaning against the wall and just staying silent watching her, watching the pain and surrender in her eyes and voice. He wanted to know what had done this! What is more powerful then pain? He grabbed a dog dish and slopped food in it and slid it next to her still staying aggravatingly silent.

message 70: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch smiled and nodded, seeing the defeated look on her face. "I can let you go." he whispered. He needed to try his angle at least once before killing her. "I can and will let you go... if..." he paused, holding her in suspense for a couple seconds. "If you Fall." He finished.

Lexi turned her face away from the food, not wanting it. She was too far gone. Way too far gone. If he didn't kill her, fine. She would die anyways. She would kill herself if she didn't die soon enough. She would end her life and face oblivion for her actions if just to end her pain. The tears started to fall again and she bit her lip, hard. Hard enough to draw blood. She decided then. It had to end. She stopped breathing. She forced herself to stop. She wanted to die.

message 71: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae glared at him as he soothingly tried to tempt her with freedom. Her blood boiled and she moved the gag off of her mouth with her tongue and jaw "go screw yourself! I will never stoop that low!" She hissed weakly and used the heel of her foot now to slam against the wall shaking the chains roughly.

Damon walked back to her and shook her to get her breath started again "stop." He said not with a stern or cold voice just a normal one. The same one he would talk to Alex with. He took a spoon from the dish and brought the food up to her lips "you need to eat..." Why was he so worried?! What the hell was wrong with him?! He saw her reluctance and sighed "I'll never touch you like that again if you please just eat..." He took a bite of it to show her it wasn't poisoned or tainted in anyway. He unstrapped the contraption on her wrist carefully and healed the holes from the pins.

message 72: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch laughed softly. "You already have stooped. So why not fall? You'll be free." He said. "Trust me. I know. I know what the chains are like." He whispered, huffing. He had already told her a lot. Why not tell her the rest. "Yeah. That's right. I used to be an angel."

Lexi moved her face away from the spoon. She wouldn't eat. She didn't want his food. She didn't want any food. She wanted to die. But then he promised not to touch her, and took that watch thing off her wrist. She looked up hesitantly, slight surprise in her eyes. What was he doing!? She slowly parted her lips and allowed him to feed her. The food tasted like sand in her mouth because she didn't want it, but she forced herself to swallow one mouthful and look away again.

((have to go for like 15 mns. Then I'll be back))

message 73: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae looked up at him darkly, she lost even more respect for him. He abandoned his own kind...he chose to be eternally damned, for what freedom? "I don't give a damn about the chains or you! If trying to convince me to abandon and scorn my own people because you did it...is your brilliant plan? Then you are far more stupid then I thought! I'm already a mix! I know about your kind and I know that you think you have freedom...but all you are is alone, forgotten and unwanted. And you'll never deny it."

Damon watched worriedly "I'll have better food tomorrow..." He whispered and urged her to take another bite. "You've lost a lot of energy and blood..." He couldn't apologize he wasn't that delusional yet! "I...I know...that you think dying is the best road...but it isn't, I don't kill. I don't take life because its all we have sometimes..." He sighed "I'm now talking to you like a friend...what the hell?! Look point is that I'm going to get you out of this, I don't know how yet because the Elders expect me to either turn you or kill you...and Torch does too...but it's not right to hurt you more then you obviously already have been." He moved away

message 74: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch shook his head. "I don't have any orders besides killing angels, which I enjoy. I am freer than I've ever been." He said, shaking his head. "No. I'm not alone. I've got Damon. He and I are best friends." He told her simply. "But that's not the point. Fall, or go to the oblivion. It's your choice." He said firmly.

Lexi was even more shocked. He didn't kill? What next? He wasn't a real demon, and she was just dreaming!? She shook her head at his urging to have more food. "I don't want it." She whispered. "Death may not be the best road for you. But it is for me. So leave me be. Haven't you done enough already?" She asked, choking back a sob. "Just do your job and kill me. It's better for both of us." she said, sagging against her chains. "I'm already injured. Can't you see that? I have wounds that wont heal. Why don't you put me out of my misery?" She asked.

message 75: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae glared at him and shook her head "I'd rather die a thousand deaths then become one of you wretched things!" She said just as firm and turned her head away "Stab me...Burn me...throttle me! I don't give a crap on how you do it..." She shut her eyes trying to fight the temptation to join him...to find her mother, it wasn't worth it! She never took the easy road and that included now!

Damon winced feeling like he was slapped, haven't you done enough already? Why was he resorting to this sympathy to this compassion!? This wasn't the Damon he knew before he met this...this creature. Why did she confuse him so? Of course he killed! He took her wrists and healed them then pressed his hand against her back lightly though he knew she'd react and healed her wings so they could grow back. Without saying anything he just walked away and sat at the far wall. What was happening to him?

message 76: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments "What are you afraid of?" he asked, seeing that he had some leverage. "Why do you suddenly what to take the easy way out and just die?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "Does the aspect of being one of the fallen daunt you so that you would rather die? How sad. I thought you had more in you than that." He sad truthfully.

Lexi watched him warily as he approached her. She tensed when he healed her wrists, but sighed in relief when the pain diminished. She jerked however when he touched her back, her eyes wide. But then the pain in the stubs where her wings were diminished as well, and she relaxed again. It would take a while for the wings to grow back, but at least she was no longer in any physical pain. Why was he not killing her!? She wanted to die. She wanted to die so badly. She wanted to get rid of the pain in her heart. "Please." She begged. "Why wont you kill me?"

message 77: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae flinched how he said 'Take the easy way out' she just turned away not answering him or looking at him, what would happen if she did?...become a Fallen Angel? She would have to kill innocent angels! Her people who were barely holding on as it was...on the other hand freedom, getting a chance to feel that part of her, her birthright! "Please just stop..." She whispered finally

Damon stared at the ceiling "I don't know" he answered finally "I don't understand it, but I saw that true pain you have...and I felt sick, for causing you more that you couldn't even feel it...I don't want to kill you, I don't want to hurt you...so if you want to die do it yourself but not with me around..."

message 78: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch raised an eyebrow. So she was considering it. "Stop what? What am I doing? All I speak is the truth. No more, no less." he said, and this was the truth. He spoke from personal experience on this.

Lexi sighed softly, looking up at him slowly. So he had a heart. He really did care about her pain. But why? Why did he care about her pain? "I-I..." she said softly, not so sure she wanted to kill herself anymore, if he was risking the wrath of his master to save her life. She sighed and looked down. "I was raped." She whispered, ever so softly. "Three months ago." there. He knew. He deserved to know why she was the way she was.

message 79: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae lunged at him "just shut up! I'm not changing! I wouldn't kill people for fun..." And that was the real reason right there. That's all she could think of why she wouldn't want to Fall, one simple yet powerful reason. She felt a pain in her chest and cringed collapsing against the wall, what was happening? She coughed and blood came out. But he didn't hurt her that badly?

Damon felt anger boiling his fingertips turning black from the intensity "who was it...I'll make him take your place and completely destroy him!" His voice came out louder then he thought it would, perks of being a demon. He felt the room sizzle and settled down "not even a demon tolerates that..." He growled.

message 80: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch nodded, understanding. He sighed. "You don't have to take that rank you know. There are demons who just guard the gates of hell, or transport souls, etc etc... You chose your job." He explained, shrugging. "I chose mine because my family hated me. I wanted to get back at them I guess. But you don't have to take the same path. Falling is Falling, regardless of what type of demon you become."

Lexi looked up at him in shock and slight fear when he shouted. And yet, she felt somewhat safe, because he was shouting that he would kill her attacker, and not her. An enemy of an enemy is a friend. "I-I don't know." She stammered, looking down again. It was painful to talk about. "I didn't know him. I only saw his face once, and it was dark." She whispered honestly. He talked about a demon having standards. Did they? She wasn't aware of that.

message 81: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae listened intrigued she didn't know that, she coughed up more blood like a fountain this time. It hurt and she didn't understand "do l...can I see a family member that...is one?" She was gasping it hurt to breathe, why was she considering this?

Damon moved closer and frowned taking off the shackles carefully "does anything else hurt?..." He asked softly and tried hard not to touch her "I can look up the records...all evil acts are stored. We can find him and I'll destroy him!"

message 82: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch nodded. "Yes. Of course." He said, confused as to why she would want that. He was not worried about the blood. He knew it was just because she was changing.

Lexi nodded slowly. "Yes. But not anything that can be healed." She said softly, dropping her wrists and rubbing them a little. Then she shook her head. "You don't need to do that. It would make you just as bad as him." She whispered, sighing. Though she couldn't deny that she would like it.

((have to go! See you in the morning :) ))

message 83: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae sighed and nodded, this was happening...the other angel in there would hate her! But she had no one else that would care, she started to shake like she was freezing and threw up black clotted blood "this is disgusting..."

Damon shrugged "I'm still a demon...it would be a public service for all...and maybe I won't get in so much trouble by letting you go." He helped her up carefully "where can I take you that would be safe?"

message 84: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments ((ok. never mind. Have a couple more minutes :) ))

Torch nodded, sighing. It was. He remembered his switch vividly. But it only happened once. "It will be over in a few minutes." He said, watching her carefully. He trusted her more now, but still not completely.

Lexi nodded slowly, that made a lot of sense. She stood, dusting herself off. "Thanks." She mumbled, straightening a little. Then she shook her head. "I do not know." She said honestly, sighing. She didn't want to tell him the rest of her back story, but if it came out, then it came out.

message 85: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae sighed and looked at her wrists "well while I'm throwing up, would it be a terrible task to let me out of these chains?" She glanced at him still hating him but respecting him more. It wasn't as if they were going to see each other after this.

Damon bit his lip "Do you trust me enough to take you to my place? Just until I can make sure you are safe!" He said hurriedly and sighed "I'm really bad at this, I'm sorry..."

message 86: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch nodded and sighed, figuring that it would be alright. "Yeah. Sure." He walked over and unlocked them, freeing her. Then he took a couple steps back, preparing for what came next. He didn't totally trust her, but he wasn't wary of her either.

Lexi stiffened a little, thinking about that. Then she nodded slowly. "Yeah. I guess that would be alright." She agreed softly. What did she have to lose really? If he killed her, so what. And he couldn't hurt her, and he had promised not to touch her, so why not? Then she frowned a little in confusion, smiling at the same time. "Bad at what? Talking to girls?" She raised an eyebrow.

message 87: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae rubbed her wrists and stopped the bleeding on his wrist using the gag as a bandage of sorts. She raised an eyebrow at him backing up "I'm not going to go all Hulk on you..." She laughed a little at his expression "but seriously get that knife as far from me as possible..." She hated that thing. She rubbed her shoulder feeling the burn scars "really know how to show a girl a good time..."

Damon rubbed the back of his neck and shrugged "Talking to anybody...being nice, it feels weird so if I suck at it I'm just giving you fair warning..." He grabbed a cigarette really needing to calm down and lit it up with his finger sighing in relief.

message 88: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch shrugged. "You never know what you'll turn into when you go demon." He said honestly. "I was just being cautious. I leveled a city when I turned." He said simply, slipping the knife into his belt when she asked him to put it away. "It's a demon blade honey, you'll be getting one soon too." He told her, smiling. Then he raised an eyebrow. "You enjoyed that? And I wasn't even trying." He grinned.

Lexi nodded. It sounded weird, the life of a demon. Being mean and dark and alone all the time. It didn't sound that nice... but then again, it didn't sound any different from her own life. She grimaced when he pulled out a cigarette. She always thought smoking was gross, so she tried not to breathe in the fumes. "That's ok." She coughed. "I don't mind." She said honestly. "I'm used to it."

message 89: by McKensie (new)

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae rolled her eyes "why don't I just stab it in your shoulder and see how you like it?" She clenched her shoulders feeling her insides burn, she glared at him "you think your charming don't you?..." She snapped and groaned shutting her eyes.

Damon put it out when he noticed she was disgusted by it. "Sorry, keeps me calm...it's hard staying in this form..." He glanced at her wondering if he should even ask "have you ever considering Falling? Not suggesting it! Just asking..."

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments "I didn't want to stab you. You forced me to by struggling, remember?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. Then he grinned. "I don't think I'm charming, darling. I know I am." He actually didn't think, or know, he was. He just enjoyed teasing her.

Lexi shook her head. "No. It's fine. Don't let me stop you." She said, waving him off. Then she frowned in confusion. "You have another form?" She asked. Then he asked that dreaded question. She tensed a little. "Yeah, I have considered it actually." She said softly.

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae raised a brow "Right. I took the blade in your hand and forced you to stab me...I suggest just being honest and admitting that you loved it." She felt her wings strip away and sighed at the loss of them, she stared at the table of torture and went over curiously.

Damon nodded "The demon form, we aren't handsome young lads...but I prefer to keep that deep inside..." He blinked amazed that she considered it "So...what do you think?"

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch laughed softly, shaking his head. "I enjoy killing angels, because it comes with the being a demon thing. But it has nothing in relation to you whatsoever, its just because you happened to be an angel." He explained, following her to the table. "Interested?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Lexi was curious as to what this demon form was, but he obviously did not want to pursue the topic. Must be touchy. She thought. "I see." She said simply. Then she chewed her lip and shook her head slowly. "I couldn't. I couldn't become something evil and prove myself just as bad as..." She looked down, not able to finish. She didn't want to be evil, and be the same as her attacker. She didn't want to be associated with any wrong doing. She wanted to be good.

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae listened to what he was saying but wasn't taking it in "you heal right?..." She stabbed the blade in his shoulder directly where he did to her and yanked it out "it had nothing to do with relation to you, I just believe in do unto others as others did unto you." She smirked.

Damon shrugged "Evil is a relative term...some are just misunderstood or angry...all demons aren't like me and Torch. Some are like secretaries or managers...any job in this life they have in ours. You don't have to harm anyone."

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch grit his teeth when she stabbed him, but he held his tongue. Rolling his shoulder as it healed, he glared at her. "if that were true, I would have the right to stab you back, and then on and on. at some point, someone's got to forgive." just as he finished speaking, his shoulder finished healing and he sighed in relief. "Not very angelic, are you? believing in revenge?"

Lexi nodded slowly and sighed. It made sense. "But I like my wings, and I like the light." She said softly. "I'm... I'm afraid of the dark." She admitted, looking down. Hell was just about the darkest place ever, she didn't want to go there.

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae shrugged watching as it healed "I wouldn't have done it if you didn't heal. I'm not a full angel, I'm a mutt so characteristics of both demon and angel come into play..." She sighed "sorry by the way..."

Damon gently tilted her chin up carefully "hey...it's ok, you don't have to. I'm not going to put you in the dark..." He let go and kept leading to his house looking back at her. "If I don't come back one night then you can just live there ok?"

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch nodded. She was a strange creature wasn't she? He shook his head. "No. It's ok. I guess I deserved it." He smiled and shrugged. Plus it didn't hurt all that much. He added to himself, but he didn't tell her that.

Lexi found herself looking at him, and this time, his touch didn't make her nervous. She nodded slowly, smiling a little. Then she frowned. "If you don't come back?" She asked softly. "Why wouldn't you come back?"

McKensie (that-one-girl) | 5564 comments Mae nodded a bit and felt her eyes turn into the color of burning coals. She ran her hand over other items "so what happens now?..." She asked quietly and picked up a cross bow looking item.

Damon sighed "the Elders and Torch will not be happy at all with my choice...they may try and kill me or worse. I don't want you to worry though, alright?"

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Torch smiled softly. "You're still changing, but most of the shift will happen after you have chosen what you will be." He explained. His eyes ran over the weapon she was holding. "Please be careful with that. I'm not too keen on getting shot."

Lexi's eyes widened and her heart sped up. He risked his life to save her!? She chewed her lip, looking down. "I will worry. Is there anything I can do to make it so you wont be in trouble on my account?" She asked. "Would..." She didn't want to even offer this. "Would, well... Falling... um... help?" She asked hesitantly, hoping it wouldn't so that she wouldn't have to.

Damon shook his head, though it would help she didn't want to do it and he would never force her. "It's going to be alright, I'm just one demon" he shrugged.
