McKensie and Lara

Marc held her close and sighed "not as much as I have missed you...I'm not dying I'm right here!"
Zach sighed "you worry too much I'm fine! Just dizzy...I need some food and rest, that's all."
Mae smiled "Mmm is this still a dream?..."

Lexi flew the globe, trying to search for her daughter, but without a thought trace to follow, she had nothing to track. Ash... she said, thinking to her daughter this time. Please answer me... she begged.
London finally let herself relax and she flung her arms around him, tucking her face against the crook of his shoulder and neck. "I'm so sorry for everything. I wish... I wish this had ended differently. That I had been strong enough to finish it..." she said, a note of regret in her voice.
Taylor rolled her eyes. "Which is why I intend to get you food and rest." She said, seating him at the table. "Now don't you dare argue. I have some time off while Bryce sleeps and I fully intend to take care of you."
Torch smiled softly, shaking his head. "No baby. This is real." he promised, standing and rolling his shoulders to release the knots from them. "Its real and its lovely, isn't it?"

Marc shook his head and tucked her close to him and just rocked her back and forth "I love you...you did amazing...you saved so many lives and families..."
Zach sighed and lay back on the bed "I'm the man of the house..."
Mae smiled "come here I'll get your knots...like I always do."

Lexi winced at the sharp accusation, but she followed the thought and swooped down at Ashlyn's side. "No. I do not. I do not wish to see anyone die. But I do want you to come back with us."
London squeezed her eyes shut tight, letting the feel of him calm her. "Everyone except my family." She whispered.
Taylor laughed softly. "Yes. Yes you are." She said, tucking him in gently. "Rest well." She whispered.
Torch smiled lightly and sat on the bed, facing away from her. "Have at it, but I don't know if I'll ever lose these ones."

Marc sighed "It'll be alright...we just need to get you back into a healed and perfet body...and I need to stop bleeding."
Mae rubbed at them popping the hard muscle and taking care of all the stress "Poor baby..."

The fae, who was still standing near by, smiled a little. "I said we blessed the child." She repeated.
London nodded feverishly, looking down at his bleeding arm. "Please fix that. My body is not dead, which is why I am still here, but if you die, you would leave me." She said seriously. "So please stop the bleeding, for I can not."
Torch felt his stress relieve, finally, and after all that time, and he smiled, closing his eyes. "Thank you." He breathed, feeling much better.

Marc sighed and grabbed the cloth as he wrapped up his arm and tied the cloth toghtly. "This feels very odd..."
Mae smiled and kissed down his neck running her hands down his arns "better?"

The Fae's smile only grew. "Don't worry. She will not be harmed. It will be easier on her body if she sleeps until the child is born."
Lexi snarled low in her throat, and then she found her arms and wings bound in coils of invisible magic.
"We'll be having no violence here. The child this girl carries is Fae, and therefore, we shall care for our own."
"At the cost of my daughter!" Lexi snapped, struggling against the magic.
"She is not our own, and not our concern."
London nodded in agreement, watching as he bound his arm. "Tell me about it." She agreed, as looking at her own body had been very strange.
Torch nodded, opening his eyes again. He turned and kissed her gently. "Yes, much." he looked down at her, worried. "but how are you doing, darling?"

Marc smiled and touched her shoulder gently "let us find your father. Torch will heal you...And we can be together...forever."
Mae smiled and nodded "I've got a couple of more weeks and then I'm home forever!"

London nodded, hoping her father had enough strength to heal her body. She knew his magic was temperamental, and was strong at some times, and weak at others, but she could hope. "Yes, let's. I miss being in a real body, and you in yours. "
Torch's face lit up in elation and happy tears glistened in his eyes. "Oh baby..." He said, hugging her. "That is the best news I have heard all week."

Marc nodded and stroke the hair from her human body "this isn't right, where is he? We need to fix this immediately."
Mae smiled and dried his tears "it's ok! Don't cry love..."

London nodded her agreement, and then chewed on her lip. "He's with my mother. She's in the hospital. From the last I heard, she was dying. That was weeks ago. She might already be dead." She whispered. "I feel bad contacting him."
Torch hugged her to him, nuzzling his face into her hair. "They are happy tears love." he whispered, breathing a deep sigh of relief. "I couldn't be happier.... I don't think I've ever been this relieved....."

Marc frowned and hugged her "I'm sorry about your mother...why didn't you tell me? You shouldn't have to carry that burden alone..."
Mae adjusted her head scarf since it was slipping and she didn't want to look like a cue ball with her bald head "wonder how the twins are doing..."

London winced, shaking her head. "You... you weren't cured yet... and I was..... I was scared that maybe... maybe you might..." She shook her head, curling up against him. "I'm sorry."
Torch nodded slowly, thinking about them. "I certainly haven't heard from either of them in a long time. Not since I was down with James in hell. But I haven't seen London in an even longer time, and I don't think they've been seeing eachother either."

Marc shushed her and stroke her hair "It's ok...I'm here, lets go see your parents. Maybe your mother is still alive? You can go see her and give a final goodbye...I'd give anything to say goodbye to my parents."
Mae frowned "Don't you think that's a little odd? They live just right down the hall from eachother in the same apartment complex..."

London closed her eyes. Alive? What if she was? London felt guilty when he talked about his own parents and she swallowed. "Oh, honey... I'm so sorry about that. Maybe you should visit them after this is all cleared up." She said, rising into the air. "But I would like to go see if my mother is still alive."
Torch nodded slowly. "Yes... it is rather odd... but with everything that has been happening I suppose they have their reasons." He said, shrugging. "Things have been rather hectic recently..."

Marc nodded and blinked "wait...we are invisible to everyone except Vallee. I need to get into my body to be able to speak to Torch and Mae..."
Mae nodded "I hope James didn't get affected by the disease...you know how his health gets..."

London nodded, knowing he was telling the truth, and she sighed softly, nodding. "I'll stay right by your side, even though you wont see me in your body." she whispered, a promise.
Torch nodded slowly, "I know. I hope he's alright. I haven't heard much from him. We should probably ask how he and Emily are doing." He mused.

Marc nodded and closed his eyes going back into his body, he slowly opened his eyes and gasped out surprised trying to get up "valee?"
Mae nodded and moved to grab h er phone and hand it to Torch

Vallee immediately walked in, smiling brightly. "Yes daddy?" She asked, looking around. When she saw her mother, she smiled at her too.
Torch kissed her cheek and texted James quickly. "Everything alright over there? Haven't heard from you in a while." He said, sending the message.

Marc smiled "your mother and I are going to visit grandma and grandpa do you want to come?...I'm going to need you to translate for mommy."
James picked up his phone and was astonished to see his mother's number. He thought she had died and he felt major guilt staying away. "Hope is having a birthday tomorrow...things are good with me and Emily." He looked at his wife with wide eyes "it's my mom..."

Vallee nodded eagerly. "I'd love to come." She said, as she liked her grandparents a lot. "Why does mommy need a trans...transla...lator?" she sounded out.
Torch smiled softly, relaying this news to Mae. He texted him back. "So good to hear that. This is Torch, your mother's here beside me. She should be out of the hospital in a few weeks! Have you talked to London recently?" He sent the message.
Emily smiled brightly at James, squeezing his hand. "So glad to hear it! Is she getting better?" She asked, knowing her husband had been uneasy about his mother's health.

Marc put a hand on her shoulder "your the only one that can hear or see mommy right now...so I need you to be her voice, you've got a very special gift."
James nodded "sounds like it, she'll be out of the hospital soon. It's no less than a miracle, she should be dead..." He shook his head trying not to think about it and texted his father back 'I haven't heard from them for a long time...had a bit of a sickness that took over my life.'

Vallee was surprised at that. Could no one else see her? But she nodded eagerly. "Ok Daddy." she said, smiling up at him. "I think I can do that."
Emily nodded, taking that all in. "I'm so glad for you." She said, and she was speaking the truth. She knew how his mother's illness had troubled him.
Torch nodded, frowning a little. 'I'm sorry to hear that. But you're feeling better now?' He inquired, concerned.

Marc ruffled her hair and smiled "THat's my girl..." he took flight heading down to Hell and the hospital, he had flashbacks of holding London's hand as they tried to save the baby that was now a big girl!
'So much better, we just got back from our vacation. Hope loved the beach! She's doing better but I'm tired of her suffering all the medicine and needles :('

Vallee flew with her father and wandered after him and to Torch and Mae's room. "Grama!" She said, laughing as she ran up to her bed to hug her.
Torch nodded, feeling badly for poor little Hope, she was so small. 'Is she talking and walking yet?' he asked. he wasn't even sure how old his granddaughter was.

Mae laughed and hugged her close "Hi darling! I didn't expect such a nice visit!" she rubbed her back "Is mommy and daddy being going to you?" where was London?
James chuckled 'She is almost 3 so...yes :) Favorite word right now is 'Why?' Why this why that?'

Jude was not faring well. He thought he had lost his family. When Damon came, he stared at him in shock. "What do you mean?" he asked.
Vallee smiled brightly, nodding. "It's nice to see you too!" She said, giggling. "Daddy is in the hallway coming, and mommy's sitting right beside you." She said, pointing at London who was sitting on the edge of the bed.
Torch laughed and shook his head. 'Sounds like quite the little instigator.' he responded. 'Promise you'll visit soon? Your mother's been missing you." He said, glancing over at Vallee and Mae meaningfully.

Mae looked over at the empty space and frowned slightly, she couldn't see her daughter...yet she felt her she knew she was there "London?..."
Marc came in and sat down watching as he took a deep breath tiredly.
'I promise dad, I'm sorry I haven't...I was just too scared to watch her die, she's doing ok right?'

London smiled weakly, moving so she was closer to her mother, holding her hand as best as she could when she didn't have hands. "I love you." she said.
Vallee smiled brightly. "She said she loves you."
Torch nodded, understanding his son's motives, even though he didn't agree with the choices he made. 'Yes, she's doing much better. Should be able to leave here in a week or so, and then she'll be in perfect health again.'

Mae smiled and squeezed the invisible hand "I love you...now what is going on? You aren't...dead are you?" she asked scared her blue eyes flashing with fear.
'Thank the demon king...I'm going to come up soon. We just have to get settled in our new place first. Hope keeps saying 'dampa'

London curled up by her mother, so happy to see her. She had been scared that she would die... and now her mother was alive... but she not so much. So she started to explain, with Vallee repeating everything she said. 'My body is dead right now... but I'll get it back once it has healed again.'
Torch chuckled, shaking his head. 'She's my new favorite grandchild.' he texted back, smiling to himself. 'All the best with getting settled in! Make sure to tell me all about it when you visit. :)'

Mae frowned and shook her head looking at Torch "Can't you go heal it? I need my daughter back...My only girl..." she said softly pretending to rub her back. She had slightly the same gift that Vallee had.

Lexi backed off and moved to Damon's side, hugging him. "There is chance... Right?" She asked hopefully
Torch winced, wishing he had known sooner about this. He nodded, carrying London's body into the hospital room so it would be somewhere near her when it was healed. London did not move from her mother's side, but she did tense when she distantly felt power start to fill her body, her fathers power.

Mae watched amazed and felt the tug "Go baby...go back to your body, it's ok..." she whispered knowing it could be a bit frightening.

Torch kept the magic flowing to rejuvenate her body, and eventually, scary as it was, the pull was too strong to ignore. So with one last look at her mother, London let herself get sucked back into her body.

Mae watched worriedly and sighed in relief as she came to. Marc immediately took her hand and kissed each finger and down her palm...don't scare me like that again!

London gapsed awake and immediately thought how strange it was to be able to feel and hear things again. And then Marc was beside her and she flung her arms around him, happy tears in her eyes. " So sorry. I missed you so much."

Marc held her and shook his head, pressing his face in her hair "Go see your mum...she's been worried sick!"

London nodded, sitting up slowly. A wave of dizziness hit her, but she ignored it and carefully walked over to the bed, smiling at Mae. "Hi Mom." she whispered, hugging her. "I missed you."

Mae hugged her tightly "I've missed you so much...I've heard you've done amazing things...you saved your father.."

London flushed, shaking her head. "I just did what I could." She said honestly, not liking to over heroize herself. She didn't think she did anything that special.

Marc rolled his eyes "you nearly died trying to save everyone...thats a big deal and you should feel proud." He said from across the room. He was helping Vallee with a puzzle.
James smiled at Emily and spun her around "when is the last time that we've been dancing?" He smiled at Hope bowing to her "may i have this dance princess?"
Liv bounced Crew on her lap as she got breakfast made, they changed the house so it was wheelchair accessable "Demetri do you want pancakes or waffles?"

London found herself blushing furiously. "Well when you put it that way...." She said, smiling at him. She looked down at her mother again. "But you're getting better?" She asked hopefully, worried for her."
Vallee finished the frame of the puzzle and giggled.
Emily laughed easily, enjoying herself finally. "It's been too long, monsieur."
Hope giggled and lifted up her arms to her dad, a smile lighting up her face. "Dancing!"
Demetri was putting on his suit to get ready to go to work, and he straightened his tie. He had gotten a job so he would be able to support his family. "Whatever's easiest honey." he called, brushing through his hair.

Mae nodded and pecked her cheeks "yes love...im getting so much better, ill be going home soon ok? Dont worry about your old mom..."
James spun her around and smiled "you are a lovely little ballerina..." he smiled at his wife, this was a good moment no tubes or medicine she was like a normal little girl.
Liv sighed she hated that suit she hated how he always left. They never were together he wasnt attracted to her it seemed like "pancakes it is then...lunch is on the counter."

London closed her eyes, squeezing her mother's hand. "But I did worry. There was no news, and I was so scared of contacting you just to find out that you had....." She shook her head.
Hope laughed the bubbly laugh of a child and she swung around, poising her hands above her head, oblivious to the fact that her life was not normal. She was perfectly happy.
Emily smiled at James, shaking her head. "Let's go in and eat supper. I made a pie for us, and I wouldn't want it to get cold."
Dem smiled as he came out of his room, kissing her quickly on the cheek before he grabbed his lunch and stuffed it in with his books and papers in his briefcase. "Thanks love." he snagged a pancake off the grill and stuffed it in his mouth, winking at her before he headed for the door. He hated leaving his family, but the thought of them not cared for was even scarier.

Mae hugged her and kissed her forehead "I almost gave up...but I'm glad I didnt..I missed my babies that aren't babies anymore...how's being a mama?"
James laughed and took Hope in the kitchen and kissed his wife "I have the most beautiful girls in the world!"
Liv sighed and waved him goodbye. She slumped going back into her depression, she nuzzled her son "you love me still right?"

London laughed softly, hugging her. "I'm glad you didn't too. But Vallee's adorable. She's the cutest thing, and she's grown up so fast! I never thought they'd get big so fast. Being a kid seemed like a lot longer to me." She said, smiling.
Emily grinned, blushing. "And I have a wonderful husband, and wonderful father to Hope." She set dinner down on the table. They were having lasagna, and she had worked on the meal for a good portion of the day. She liked trying to bake new foods.
He nodded, climbing onto his mother's lap. "Of course momma. I love you and Daddy both. Just like you love us, and Daddy loves us." he said seriously, as if that was common sense. ((what's his name again? I can't seem to remember :P ))

Mae smiled and nodded "trust me it was quick to me too...member my little girl grew up out of nowhere and had a baby..."
James shook his head amazed "how do you pull something out like this every night?!"
Liv smiled at Crew and laughed "thank you baby...you make me proud to be your mama, let's make your pancake man ok?" ((Crew :) it's my nephew's name and I think it's so cute.))
London curled up against him, trying to keep from crying. She missed him holding her like this so terribly, and yet, she was terrified of him dying. Terrified of him leaving her. "I miss you."
Taylor grinned then, moving away from Bryce's cradle so they could let him sleep. "Hmm. Well you're cute as a puddle." She said, stealing a kiss. "And I am going to get you to eat something and put you to bed, because I don't need to getting sick because of me."
Torch woke the next morning. When he saw the hospital room, he quietly slipped back into his clothes and smiled at the sleeping form of his wife. "Morning baby." He whispered, kissing her head.
