50.1 - Maya's Task : We've Been Here Before...Or Have We?
Book 1: Option B: Lioness Rampant by Tamora Pierce It fits task 5.8 - Bronze being found at spot 18 on the books about swords list.
Book 2: Option A:Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce. I used the second book in this series for task 30.4 on post 1234 in this board.
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Book 3:Option B:The DUFF: Designated Ugly Fat Friend by Kody Keplinger, I have previously given this book a good shot, I rather enjoyed the film when I originally watched it so gave the book a go. I recently rewatched the film so I thought I would give the book a go again. I didn't like it again this time around but I made sure I was going to stick through it until the end.

50.1 - Maya's Task : We've Been Here Before...Or Have We? -
Read three books, one from each book set selecting either A or B. All three books together must equal at least 900* pages.

BOOK ONE : Sometimes, It's Easy - A) READ A BOOK that fits any other task or task option from the Fall 2016 Season. Required: Identify the task and option used and include any of the task's required elements.

The View from the Cheap Seats: Selected Nonfiction by Neil Gaiman
Fits task 5.4, "Read a book by an author whose first and last name initials are found in the 4th wedding anniversary flower CRANESBILL GERANIUM."
I read the hardback edition, which comes in at 522 pages, which qualifies it for a Big Book ticket.

BOOK TWO : Sometimes, It's Hard - A) READ A BOOK from a series that you have read a book from this season already and successfully claimed for a Fall 2016 task. The book must be identified as part of a series in the Goodreads metadata.
Required: You must link to the post #* that you claimed that book in when you submit this task. *how-to instructions in post 4.

Home by Nightfall (Charles Lenox Mysteries #9) in the metadata.
I claimed The Laws of Murder (Charles Lenox Mysteries #8) in Post 718.
The hardback edition I read has 304 pages. 522+304=826 pgs.

BOOK THREE : Sometimes, It Gets Done - B) READ A BOOK that you've tried to read before but did not finish. This must be a book that you have seriously attempted to finish not just a false start. Required: Explain how your choice fits the task.

Jane Eyre
This sat on my currently-reading shelf from Jan. 1, 2012, until the day the 50-point task dropped and I moved it back to the to-read shelf with the intention of restarting it completely. I'd got as far as Jane's boarding-school years (YAY typhus epidemic!) and could stand it no longer; this book is just not for me, so it sat there on the GR shelf and mocked me for YEARS.

I restarted it, put it back on the currently-reading shelf on Oct. 19, and with points for an incentive managed to push through it. It's still not the book for me, but now at last I can say I Have Read It. (And now never need read it again, sing hallelujah!)

First printed in 1847, this qualifies for a Golden Oldie ticket.
I read a Kindle edition, but the top mmp ed. is 493 pages. 522+304+493=1,319 pgs.

Task: 10.7 - Doing the Dewey
Roll two dice. Add the numbers you get together and read a book with the corresponding Dewey decimal designation. State the numbers you rolled and the Classify Dewey Decimal class
As a board game geek i couldn't wait to roll some dice!
I rolled 1 and 6 for a total of 7 which gave me the Dewey decimal designation 700-799 which is "Arts and Recreation".
I decided to look at the music section of this designation and picked Love Me Tender The Stories Behind the World's Best-loved Songs by Max Cryer to read.
This book had some useful trivia in it, such as Elvis liked to "appropriate" his songs from other people!

Woohoo! Got to move some things around for 50.1!

50.1 Been Here Before... Or Have We?

Book One: Sometimes, It's Easy

Where'd You Go, Bernadette (option a - Task 25.5, option 2: humor)

Book Two: Sometimes, It's Hard

Forever (option b - this is #3 to the #2 I read & claimed in this post)

Book Three: Sometimes, It Gets Done

A Moveable Feast (option b)

Oh boy! After experiencing total delight over being able to easily move my books into this task, this book almost stopped me from doing it altogether. I've tried reading A Moveable Feast at least 3 times and life just kept getting in the way. My best friend even lent it to me a couple of years ago; I started it, got about 20 pages in, and then completely forgot about it until I had to return it. When I started again today, I almost switched books because I was having so much trouble paying attention. But I stuck with it and ended up enjoying it! (F. Scott Fitzgerald getting sick really saved the book for me! Thank you, sir.)
