This is a TWO book task.
Your Folk Art assignment is to design a quilt theme for two of the less-well-known quirky holidays that occur during the fall listed at Fun Holidays
Book 1:
Sep 8 Thursday Pardon Day
I picked this book:

My Wife's Affair (2010) by Nancy Woodruff (Hardcover, 272 pages)
The lady is bowing down, asking for a pardon. My quilt would have copies of this cover repeated over & over & over. Specifically Approved for this Task
Book 2:
Sep 4 Sunday Eat an Extra Dessert Day
I picked this book:

Murder Gone A-Rye (A Baker's Treat #2) (2014) by Nancy J. Parra (Goodreads Author) (Paperback, 294 pages)
There is one, two, three trays of desserts--- cupcakes, cookies, scones, fruit tarts, etc, etc --- a lot of choices for an Extra Dessert! My quilt would have the trays of desserts repeated over & over & over.

30.3 - Jonquil’s Task- May all of your ups and downs in life be with a needle and thread.
Two books whose covers apply to quirky autumn holidays from the Fun Holidays list.
Book 1: Aino Kassinen kertoo by Aino Kassinen for October 25th, the Sourest Day, because I think she looks plenty sour. The name of the book translates as "Aino Kassinen Speaks".

Book 2: Valonkantajat: Välähdyksiä suomalaisesta salatieteestä by Perttu Häkkinen & Vesa Iitti for October 31st, Magic Day, because the symbols on the cover look like (and probably are) actual magical symbols. For certain values of "actual". The title translates as "Lightbearers: Flashes of Finnish Occultism".
