Option 2: I chose Picasso's "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" and I read The Beautiful Pretender by Melanie Dickerson. I believe this title fits the painting because of the person in the bottom right corner. This person does not have the same features as the other people (who are all somewhat uniform and symmetrical, as much as Picasso could be considered symmetrical) and could be considered a 'pretender'. The figure is beautiful in its own right.
