My review has just gone up for this one. Now onto
I’m currently reading, and really enjoying,
The Cottage at Rosella Cove by Aussie author Sandie Docker

Loved that one Sally!

I read Tony Cavanaugh's latest, Blood River via NetGalley, but on Facebook I learned that there is an extra chapter that concerns Billy Waterson in 1964, so I got it out of the library, worth doing, a bit of helpful explanation.

Me too - will have to get her other books!
I am now reading
Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty - loving this one too.
Sandie's first,
, was wonderful, and I'm looking forward to her third out later this year (I think!)
I liked
too :)

Currently struggling through Jasper Jones by Craig Silvey. It's way too slow for me, and the Aussie-ness of it kinda grates a little.

I've just started Wimmera by Mark Brandi. This is not a book I was particularly interested in reading as I had heard the subject matter was a bit bleak and disturbing but my boss wants a second opinion on whether it is appropriate for a school library.

Finished and reviewed Carolyn :)

My opinion is no Diana - but you'd know the kids, ages etc better.

Also finished so I'll write my review before I read yours!
I am currently reading four books! The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion - To be honest I am not loving it. It is nice not to have an Insta Love story for once, so that is absolutely a benefit, but I am finding it very repetitive.
Ravage Me by Ryan Michele - A guilty Pleasure book that is shaping into a very over the top read. It is quote a short book so everything is moving so quickly, and talk about Insta Love (sigh)
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling - This is a Re-Read. I am trash for HP so this is going great. I originally started it because I was reading You by Caroline Kepnes and needed a softer read in between, but You turned out to be very basic read after all.
Half a King by Joe Abercrombie - Not very far in, but loving it!
I am reading an Aussie classic
by Albert B. Facey and really enjoying it. I am up to where Albert is fighting in Gallipoli and has survived getting off his ship. I am LOVING the audio of
by Lisa Unger. Many of my friends haven't rated it highly but I am really enjoying the ride to find out what is going on with our most unreliable narrator! Narrated in an amazing voice, it's just brilliant.
Brenda wrote: "Diana wrote: "I've just started Wimmera by Mark Brandi. I found it really rather creepy and disturbing and don't think our students would have the maturity for it. One of our teachers read it and suggested it should be removed.
On Friday night I started To Night Owl from Dogfish by Holly Goldberg Sloan. It's a middle grade modern day take on The Parent Trap. Very cute.
I'm halfway through the much-loved The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson and yes, this is one of those reads I can't believe I've put off for so long!

Glad you've come to that conclusion :) I actually had a back and forth email discussion with the publicist about the lack of advice on the back cover regarding the content. Nothing changed!!

I am really enjoying #5 of the Jackson Brodie series, Big Sky
by Kate Atkinson, but there's one thing that's annoying me: tomorrow I'll be finished reading it :(
Just started on The Electric Hotel by Dominic Smith. I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while.
Reading Crazy Rich Asians. A friend from our bookgroup recommended this, she had a bit of a conspiratorial look on her face and let me peak at it from her bag like it was contraband. I was thinking it was a bit light on for me and her too (but there are cultural bits explained in the footnotes, she said). Reserved it from the library and picked it up after waiting for it for months. It's a hilarious riot! Enjoying it so much :D
Revival by Stephen King.My wife is a big King fan. I got it for her for Christmas the year it came out. It has always intrigued me so giving it a go.

Wow @Fergal! I love reading this type of non-fiction books! I'll add it on my wish list :)
@Carolyn: I hope it too! I'll post my thoughts about the book once I finish it :)
