* Looks fun but odd - 1/22- Was odd but fun and enjoyed the connecting short stories, ended stronger than it started

Every time he says "*name* said" it just grates on me. The "said" is in the nasally abrupt low tone that is terribly hard to explain and incredibly irritating. I can't do 13 hours of it.
Finished my October book and picked a book for November. It is a long one so will need to start sooner in the month. Has anyone read

This month was a DNF. I'm not sure why I added Air Awakens in the first place. The writing is very juvinelle and insta-Romance. Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance is next.

Update: message 171 (don't know how to make a link)I managed to read 6 books out of 8. I never even started The Shape of Water, because I was down with a flu the whole month and I read half of Tess of the D'Urbervilles before I had to return it to the library. I'm finishing it this month.
