Sad. I had to have my Tigger put down this morning. She was to be 19 in one month but didn't make it. She leaves behind her sister of same age. I can see she's lost without Tigger as am I but Tig was starting to show illness and then took a turn for the worse. It was inevitable that she had to leave us. I miss her. :-(

Thank you, Nicole. Busying myself to stop from thinking too much yet don't want to dismiss her from memory.

Thanks, Mark. Yet, we were able to keep her for another week+ and then were let known it was time. Just wanted to make sure we weren't premature; we're dealing okay with things.

Just saw this :( So sorry! Furbabies are hard to lose.

Has anyone read this one? It looks fun!

Sounds good; I think Nicole read it but perhaps she'd be up for a re-read.

My dream? lol That we could find a great, fresh new title that no one's read yet. Like, we're all discovering it for the first time.
I know you PI's are Biblio Greats and have often read books before the authors even knew they were out lol (a gift, indeed. I'm envious) but...okay, I feel uncomfortable asking you to re-read a book you've already spent time reading.
I'm bearing my soul here. Please don't be angry with me. lol

I don't mind rereading a book if I've enjoyed it. Certainly not the Christies! It is fun to share a book with others, if you liked it in the first place. (Or forgotten that you read it!)
The Marchmount book sounds good, and at only 99c in Kindle, doable given our library Covid limitations.

Has anyone read this? It's pretty new though.

Back at ya, Nicole. You caught that I caught it. Well played, PI Extraordinaire.

Should have you pick a brand new, spanking, awesome title. Not too much pressure, huh? lol

Nicole: I saw this on Facebook (there are LOTS of Christie pages there!) Very interesting, especially how things changed by the decades.

Cool breakdowns, Nicole. Several peaks mid-way from 20's to 70's. Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed they did, Pghfan.

I am much delayed responding to Nicole's six book suggestions for August. I'm ruling out This Side of Murder and Dangerous Engagement as too expensive. The Blue Rose and Murder at Archly Manor are OK with me, if we decide that way. The Christie Caper is my choice as I already have the book!
Read Christie Caper and can't recall if I liked it or not. Though I'd pick Archly Manor, I'll go along with majority vote.

Still looking to start The Christie Caper on Saturday. I'm re-reading and frankly don't remember much of this at all. It was a long time ago!
