The Parlor PI's discussion
This n' That, Misc. Topics. Catch All Drawer.
The Murder of Twelve is unavailable from my library (all copies are out!). It is $7.99 on KIndle, which I can manage if we decide to go that way.

I'll host Jan. if you PI's want esp. if it's for Murder Of Twelve. Not too insistent, huh? lol

I always put it on hold just in case and then sometimes I'm surprised that I get it right before I was about to buy it!
As for library, it doesn't hurt to be put on waiting list and then cancel if mind changes. As you say, sometimes you're surprised and selection comes in before you purchase.
I'll request as well. If it comes in, it comes in! Under new lock down rules, I can just hope for the best.
My book is not scheduled to arrive 'til Jan. 5th. so we all have time. Not just because of my order, but all way 'round. Hope this makes it a little easier to obtain copies. :-)

I don't have any idea of when I'll get the book from the library, so when we are ready to start, I'll get it on Kindle, if necessary. Sound like the rest of you are delayed as well, though...

I found another one that looks interesting to put on our future TBR list. Has anyone read this?

Any interest in this one? https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

That's a good choice, too, Other Nicole!

Okay. I'll look at noted suggestion but I'm sure it's fine. You lot decide. I'll remain host for Feb., MSW Twelve book if someone picks up Jan. selection.

Same here, Nicole. Let's see what they pick for Jan. I'll cover Twelve in Feb. Or we could start Twelve mid-Jan. Either way is fine.

I'm also good w/starting MSW Twelve in mid-Jan. What we could do is check in as book becomes available to all. (Often time lists move along quicker than expected). And then start discussion. Anyone up for that approach?
Purr-fect, Nicole. That would put us in less than 1/2 of Jan. and I thought as this schedule would probably loop into Feb., we could finish Feb. w/a short story and then be back on schedule for March, perhaps with book that was suggested or another.

Sounds good to me, Pghfan!

Sounds intriguing, Nicole. Maybe we can tackle this one say, Jan to Feb or March?

That says much for the book, Nicole. Thanx!

Just received Murder of Twelve. Can't wait to tuck in! Love the cover but LOL on JB's photo. May be important topic for discussion. Tee, hee.

For sure, NicoleG! And we know her secret!

LOL I think we're split down middle. How 'bout this...we do both? Post both book threads w/intention to read/participate in both. Just jump in where and when we can. Then no one's held up. We can finish Twelve then jump to Canterfell and vice versa for the other. Keep both threads going and wrap both by Feb. end. Then we can sail into March caught up, starting fresh with a new title from start of month.
If no on above, someone post suggestion. We're the PI's. We can figure this out. ;-)

Thanks, Nicole, go ahead and start 'er up. I'll come in w/Twelve thread in a few days. I'll also download a copy of Canterfell so long as we'll be reading/discussing both titles. OK PI's? Thanks, all!

Set those DVD's for one or other as two new mysteries release tonight at eight! I'll watch Miss Scarlet & The Duke and record Hallmark's Vineyard mystery for later.
