In The Parlor with Nicole! Happy Thanksgiving, fellow PI! Hope your days are merry and bright. :-)

I thought there was a short mentioned as a possible title, Nicole. I'll scroll the posts and see if I can locate it.

Hmm? Not sure, Nicole. I scrolled the "Hunt For" thread and a Jeffries was mentioned but I can't find the short title someone posted/suggested. The Grinch was at work it seems but I'll stay w/Lady Georgie read unless PI's can't locate a copy and read it on my own.

Anyone else want to weigh in? We've a few days to straighten this out. I'm good any way.

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments If anyone has the December book on hand can you give me the # of chapters? My book is in transit so I'll be able to pick it up midweek but I can put up the first discussion post if I can do the chapter breakdown.

message 1261: by PugMom (new)

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments I also came across this book that just came out. We read the first one in the series I believe and maybe we could keep this on the list to read at some point. Thirteen Bitter Sweets (Chandler’s Chocolate Box Mystery, #2) by Agatha Chocolats

How many sections should we have? Should we leave the last week of the month for the reveal?

On a sad note, my SO's mom passed away on Dec. 23rd. It's been a few months coming yet one never really is ready for it. We pressed on with a celebration as best we could offering up toast and prayers in her memory.

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments Also this one. It's a long running series. I think I have read a few of them. A Catered Valentine's Day (A Mystery with Recipes, #4) by Isis Crawford
A little older so will probably not be hard to find at the library.

message 1289: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolevickers) | 1814 comments I think a Valentine's mystery sounds fun, too!

I read a few of Isis Crawford's mysteries and didn't care for them but I could give it another try. Either of those, PugMom, could work.

Thanks PI's! Though Feb. Fever sounds good (PI convention and all) I sorta initiated Jan. title and don't want to hog the picks so if you'd still like to troll waters for something else, I'd be good with anything. Should you all find something else, we could always save Feb. Fever for March. I'll let all you PI's pick and go along with what you decide.
