Use the (Some HTML IS OK) link and it will show you how to post pictures from websites. Sometimes if its an https: site, it will not work(at least that has been my experience)

Busy this last 3 weeks working Saturday and Sundays.

Effected my reading as so tired in the evening.

Now helping my wife from now to Sunday night with our Christmas Chalet at a Arctic Village.

There is fun rides, a ice ring, and shops and food and about 12 chalets with craft goods.

Added pictures on my Facebook page.

Lorrea - WhatChaReadin'? (whatchatreadin) Having a proud mommy moment. Yesterday my daughter forgot her copy of Charlotte's Web by E.B. White at school and she had to do homework from it. Being the book hoarder that I am, I went to the basement and pulled out a copy from my archives!! #nowtellmeyoucantdoyourhomework

I'm wondering if any of you know the name of the Smoker Cookbook that was up for Goodreads Choice Award Voting. I wanted to purchase it for my husband and when I looked it up it had not made it to the next voting round so I could not find it.
Thank You

Several years ago the Black Friday or cyber monday sale was incredible. Tons of Ellery Queen, Toby Peters, The Kent Family Chronicles and other Ebooks were on sale for $1.99...sigh. This year was a major yawner.

One of the things that really makes me mad about this stuff is the inconsistency. That is Native American land. However, when a bunch of armed white man take over Federal land, they aren't attacked and don't even get sentenced when they do stand trial.

I'd say maybe the NAs should be armed but the Malheur situation probably had more to do with the color of their skin and the fact that an oil & gas company didn't want that nature preserve.

Other inconsistency: normally the government gives the NAs a wide leeway in things they want, until corporations are interested. Only going to get worse when Mr Private Interests takes the oath.

They have their eviction orders already. 12/5/16 and then the Army Corps of Engineers starts getting REALLY nasty. And yes, the inconsistency sucks but it probably really DID have a lot to do with Big Oil NOT wanting the preserve.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest, how many of you have heard Benjamin Britten's A Ceremony of Carols, which he wrote in the middle of the London Blitz of WWII?

If I'm the only one, here's a recording from the The Minnesota Valley Chorale probably in 2012, but not posted to YouTube until April of 2013: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYutT...

http://everything2.com/title/Ceremony... all have more information...including a translation of the Latin, Middle English and possibly some German lyrics.

well members, great to get a weekend off.. yes a whole Saturday and Sunday...my first in 4 weeks.

We can celebrate 4,000 members, my Christmas Target.

Have finalised our front and back garden, work starts second week of January for four weeks.

Still working on finalising our kitchen between two companies.

My wife and I are finding it hard to get everything just right, adding on my wishes, her wishes and our four cats.

American freezer or Two Fridge Freezers ?

Zip Tap or Franke Tap, one is 4-1 one is a 3-1

And so much more... think I need some more overtime!

At RBC new building we have 16 kitchens, each kitchen has TWO ZIP taps, with boiling water, chilled filtered cold water, hot water and sparkling water, and just cold.

Each kitchen at RBC cost 80,000 pounds, yes pounds !

Each Zip tap was 3,000 pounds !

Overtime for October was 56 hours
Overtime for November was 97 hours.

Going to be busy till Christmas.

message 8941: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) Our refrigerator/freezer died last month. (The third domestic disaster in 2 months!) When we went to look at new ones, my God are there some fancy ones out there. We eventually decided on one that pretty much looked like our old ones. (Except, unfortunately, it did not have the "tortilla" drawer.)

What is a Zip tap?

message 8942: by Sean, Moderator (new)

Sean Peters | 10540 comments Mod
From there web site, its a tap which delivers Boiling (100 F) water, and from the same tap filtered chilled water, then sparkling, and ordinary hot and cold. Never use a kettle again, or buy bottles of cold water for the fridge.

THE PUREST TASTING WATER. BAR NONE.

The Zip HydroTap delivers the purest water from any boiling and chilled instant tap in the world. With x25 better filtration
than a water filter jug, the water is crisp, clear and refreshing.

It’s also free from dirt and contaminants that other systems
may not remove.

An american style fridge freezer. I've just replaced mine to a nice shiny black one. Double doors, fridge/freezer side by side.

message 8949: by Perri (new)

Perri | -43 comments Interesting my american fridge has the freezer on top, and that's what I would have guessed would be the most popular, then the side by side, then the freezer on the bottom. Where is it in the UK?

message 8950: by Amber (new)

Amber Martingale Where ever the manufacturer decides, Perri, would be my guess.
