Sorry off line for so much this week, busy and lots of overtime/work
Dear Sean:
Hello. We wanted to share how much we enjoy following the threads/posts/comments on A Good Thriller. We've said before but will again: What a Great Group! So dedicated.
Since we last spoke and emailed, we are in the midst of data collection and in the beginning stages of data analysis. After interviewing a number of online book club members who participate in the Mystery/Thriller genre, we created questions targeted at Mystery/Thriller readers. Sean, we would love your input. The questions are below listed.
Of course, to support you and A Good Thriller, we want to post more questions. It's hard coming up with new thread questions. Our hats off to you. We may post the Question #3 to see what the other members think.
Thanks again Sean for being such a great support to our research! A Good Thriller has such a devoted and loyal membership. Amazing job at creating and maintaining this type of environment. We've studied a great many clubs. A Good Thriller stands out. Please feel free to quote us!
Best regards,
Grace & Amanda

What are the biggest misconceptions about mystery/thriller readers?
What is being discussed and shared in your online mystery/thriller book club that contributes to the sense of community?
Several interviewees have described their participation in an online mystery and thriller book club as a bar/pub hangout with your friends. Do you agree with this? And, if so please describe your mental image of your online mystery/thriller book club’s hangout in terms of location, party decorations, food, drink, etc. (Feel free to have fun with this one.)

Well , I for one do not like gratuitous violence at all but love a good thriller/ mystery........ Is it impossible to write one without ?
Just to mention, I will try to pop in when I can, but as expected lots of overtime at work.
Working 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Monday 7.15 hours, then 4 hours overtime.
Today normal day, then 2 hours overtime, then to snooker league for 2 hours then home.
Tomorrow full day, overtime for two hours then tennis two hours, then home.
Thursday night, Friday might be free for evening, not sure yet.
Working all day Saturday and Sunday.
RBC, where I work has new premises built in Jersey, one of the largest in Jersey, and moving in in 3-4 weeks.
Four premises down to two.
Over 1, 600 computers, desk's chairs to move and fit, and crates, and staff move in every weekend soon.

HAPPY READING!!!

That is, unless I'm laying on the couch to read. :-)

Sorry about your injuries, Lorrea. Maybe your doctor wasn't a fan of ereaders...

You can get the same exercise while reading a traditional book or from a tablet/kindle e-reader. I even find it easier to read while I'm cooking, hands free verse having to hold a book to turn pages.

Diane: That's good advice.

I've had a knitting injury before. It's probably similar to a knitting injury.

I love adult-fantasy. I don't enjoy vampire love stories, but ones about wizards slaying dragons or Hobbits bein..."
