Anybody reading our Book Of The Month....

Dave said to me he was getting lonely in the thread.

It is a good book, I finished it first week of July.

Amber Martingale I wish the norovirus outbreak at the Rethuglican Convention had fatally struck all the blabbermouthed politicians endorsing tRUMP, tRUMP himself and his family.

Jason E. Fort (fortress23) | 154 comments why such hatred?

message 8406: by Amy (new)

Amy Tasukada (amytasukada) I really love hot tea. Does anyone else? I like more of dark oolongs and smoky blacks.

message 8407: by Amber (new)

Amber Martingale Why, Jason? Because if tRUMP wins, we're going back into the toilet...especially as far as women's reproductive rights are concerned...not to mention the tax breaks for the filthy rich and the fact that he thinks with his testicles rather than his brain IF you can call what goes on in Trump's pecan sized brain "thinking." And let's not forget that his rug is a crime against hairpieces everywhere. Don't call his smirk a "crocodile smile" either because that's an INSULT to real crocodiles!

Amy, I like whatever type of tea I can get but I also like iced tea.

We're already in the toilet, depending on who you ask and tax breaks have always happened for the filthy stinking rich. It doesn't matter who's in the White House, just ask Obama, since
congress is Rethuglican (As you call them.) controlled and are even more idiotic than Trump.

Jean | 2387 comments Amy, I drink hot tea, even in the summer. Not a fan of most flavored teas or sweeteners. Black. oolong...even green. Iced is good too. Maybe a little lemon in the iced tea, but mostly I like it unadulterated!

True, Mike, but tRUMP is the MOST annoying example of a Rethuglican right now.

Jean, I drink my tea however I have the fixings for it.

They had no one running this election that would have been any better than Trump and several would have been even scarier to see in the White House.

Today played tennis, mixed doubles for two hours.

Tomorrow I am playing a NEW sport for me, and the sport is new only going a year or two.

Paddle Tennis !!

Is it good to start a new sport at 58years old(nearly)

Well I know it's fast and like all three racket sports altogether.

We will see.

Thanks to all the members that did the survey.

I am very pleased and proud to say I just spent over an hour talking to the two lovely ladies behind the survey.

Their research on this group was very thorough, and made for great and interesting comments and thoughts.

I am in communication with them, and their thoughts and comments I will here from them shortly, I found it very interesting.

So thank you ladies, and I look forward to your comments on here in the group.

message 8438: by Jason E. (new)

Jason E. Fort (fortress23) | 154 comments Sean, thanks again for moderating. I also got to speak with the two ladies...apparently one reason is because you and I and the occasional other male are a minority :) Anyway, the two lovely ladies were so nice and polite, and very complimentary of your juggling of moderation of this sometimes ultra-busy group. So Kudos are due my friend. I enjoyed the interview, and they were going to use my top ten random facts I posted on one of these forums a while back. Thanks for letting me be part of this group, and I will try to participate even more in the future.

Yes, that was one thread, one of my favourites, that they thought was one of our best threads, they had been through over 2-3 years of threads, and spoke about many members comments and characters.

They have checked/joined many groups and found ours to be the most friendly.

Lots more facts

Don't hate it, but I don't like that my group discussions aren't the first thing I see. I would like the option like before to see group discussions or individual updates on my home page. OR the ability to make my homepage look the way that is best for me.
