If it's a book that I can't put down and my kids have to run to the busstop and I'm running red lights to be at work because the book was that good...then it gets a 5 star from me. I will admit, I was the same when I first started on Goodreads.

Same here. No change on phone app. I've heard a fee mention the font changes and GR run a blog page I think. Talk of change is there.

Janet: There's more than 2K people replying to the blog post you mentioned and the upshot is that MOST of those 2K+ people think GR "fixed" what WASN'T broken to begin with.

Stephanie: SOME? On my screens at the Belleville Public Library it's ALL a bit blurry. And the brightness is KILLING my eyes but manually changing it screws my vision up on the other sites...makes it TOO dark to see. I COULD put my sunglasses back on but then I'd have the same problem elsewhere.

Amber, I'm on my phones browser and mostly the usernames & smaller text is whats blurry. The rest looks fine, I know lots of ppl have been complaining about fonts/blurriness, so maybe their fix it.

As for choosing our color schemes, well that's just common sense, don't you think? Since you don't know me as well as some of the older members of this group do , I'm going tell you my opinion about WHY common sense ideas get short shrift: People in general and corporate bosses/politicians specifically, ABHOR common sense the way traditional vampires are SUPPOSED to abhor garlic, silver, sunlight, wooden stakes, crosses/crucifixes, holy water AND roses!

Titas: GR just pushed through a change in the look. A look that more than 2 thousand+ people seem to hate.

Just go with your gut, if you like it and feel its worthy of 5* then it probably is.

Change is good, but not just for the sake of it....

The new GR look has some flaws like too bright, the fonts are a shade lighter, its ok to look at it for a few minutes, but if you stay for a longer time it just kills the whole experience IMO,,,
