Thanks guys. I just seemed to have a burst of reading. Can't say that number will be achieved every year though. Just a bit of fun really.

Congratulations Rebecca!!

55 books done! Think I may lower the number next year!! :D"

Good Job!! Would you like to help me finish mine?? Although I think I'm going to get a lot more reading done in the next coming weeks since my boss is out of the country and I will be in the office alone.

Kerry take care - I know just how painful that is and if you don't rest up it takes forever to heal.

Thank you, Sandy! Honestly it's more painful than when I broke my other foot which I was surprised about. But what a great excuse to stay in bed all day and do nothing but read, huh? ;)

Also

Fantastic news for the group

Clare Mackintosh has agreed to do a Q & A for the group, either in December or January.

A great success story, as Clare is very much in demand after the success of her debut author that has done enormously well worldwide.

Many have "liked" my recent review on this outstanding book.

Next month our December author is a former Policewoman and Detective in Robin Burcell.

Well Clare Mackintosh was a policewoman and CID Detective.

Hi Diane

Our Readalong author for December is

The Last Good Place by Robin Burcell. A great book.

Our book of the month depends on dates for Clare Mackintosh, if she agrees for December I will recommend her book, as the same for January.

Our Readalong for January is Susan May book Deadly messages, which I am sure will be on a special near the end of the month.

Our November readalong Slur, is again on a special offer, and many have finished this book.

Clare Mackintosh book is the outstanding "I Let Her Go"

Groovy Lee Sean, I am so glad your wife is better. Maybe the doctors need to give you stronger medicine. This pneumonia you have is really tough.

Sonya--sorry to hear about your shoulder.

How on Earth did you know, David? ;) First time I fell off a ladder. This time my knee gave way from an old knee injury and I fell on it at a messed up angle. Life goes on haha.

Thank you so so much everyone for the well wishes, and Sonya and Sean I'm sending you healing thoughts and prayers <3

I've been saving The Last Good Place for the readalong so I'm really excited to get to it finally :D

Amber Martingale If you can only access GR through your public library, as is my case, and your library is closed both Thursday and Friday; don't forget to entertain yourself!

I'll have fifteen chapters to read! One for each book on my Currently Reading list! https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

The last one, CHRISTIAN WISDOM OF THE JEDI MASTERS by Dick Straub, ties in to Pastor Joshua Pittman's current 7 week Bible study/STAR WARS movie marathon at Belleville's St. Paul's United Church of Christ!

Week 1: THE PHANTOM MENACE: Similarities between Queens Esther and Amidala
Week 2: ATTACK OF THE CLONES: Similarities between both Senator Amidala/Anakin Skywalker and Adam/Eve/role of temptation in both GENESIS and STAR WARS
Week 3: REVENGE OF THE SITH: Secrets
Week 4 (this coming Sunday): A NEW HOPE. No clue yet as to how episode IV is tied to the Bible.
Week 5: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK: Ditto.
Week 6: THE RETURN OF THE JEDI: Ditto.
Week 7: THE FORCE AWAKENS: Ditto.
