Not what I said. He's merely banned anyone over the age of 12 from going trick-or-treating on Halloween itself because there were some idiotic seniors in our community saying they were SCARED of kids over the age of 12 coming to their doors on Halloween. Which is a crock of shit!

There is a town celebration that shuts down about ten blocks of Main St. on the last Friday before Halloween which this year is actually the day BEFORE Halloween. The shops that are normally closed by 5 PM on Fridays stay open until approx 10 even though the town celebration officially ends at 8 PM so that they can clean up afterwards. It starts at 5:30. Almost always have a van from (at the very least) the St. Louis, MO. Radio Disney station. Since we're a suburb of St. Louis, MO., we also often have the mascot for the St. Louis Rams football team and the cheerleaders... .

Although the kids don't seem to mind the restriction, I DO mind because like you said, there are a lot of people who are older than 12 who like to celebrate Halloween... .

I hope you'll be OK Sean. Are you taking a tonic to help build your strength back up? Metatone is very good. :)

Taking Emergen C (, the best Vitamin C product in the world) and also Metatone.

Emergen C by Alacer Corporation is the top selling Ascorbate Acid product, the true form of Vitamin C, and the best form to take.

It is not acid to the stomach like Ascorbic Acid, which is very bad, it burns the stomach lining.

Thanks Heather.

I love my tennis, so fifteen years ago I did a Clinical and Sports Nutrition course with Patrick Holford. (A three year course)

Sadly did not stop family history of diabetes, but does help me keep playing tennis 3-4 times a week.

But work and sports often means I run my sugars low and do too much, and I know I should slow down, just do not want to, that is why I am bad at the moment.

I am trying my best to slow down, I do need to retire to fit everything in, then I will be fine. LOL

Thanks for kind comments

Amber Martingale Sounds like.

message 6959: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee My daughter and I was just talking about taking something that boosts the immune system other than boring vitamins. I think we'll try Emergen-C, too.

So, glad to see that you're active again, Sean. But don't have a RELAPSE by overdoing it too soon. I hope your wife is better, too.

Have a good weekend, everyone:)

Well it's now nearly 4 am. Not being well I slept late into the day yesterday..... and here I am still reading because I can't sleep and feel lousy. And what am I reading? I've picked up Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter again. I keep seeing different reviews and people talking about the violence contained so I decided to persevere and here I am nearly halfway through.

message 6984: by Sharon (new)

message 6994: by Amber (new)

Amber Martingale Janet/Sean: Sheldon has called me "Sugar tits" in the thread about music and a "trollop" elsewhere as well as asking if my favorite female characters were all trollops.

I could have told him that "only men with a death wish call the Faerie Queens and a Valkyrie a "trollop" directly to their faces, so I guess you have a death wish" but I didn't.

Is it in this group Amber ?

Or the other Music group you are a member of ?

Well, that's a relief because between Sean and myself we must read every post made. The odd thing may get past us and even then it's brought to our attention by one of our regulars.

If anyone sees any inappropriate remarks made please message either myself or Sean. We're a happy and friendly group and we'd like to keep it that way.

Thanks, everyone. :)
