Hope I can sleep, after no sleep at all last night, but on tablets, thirsty all the time, which is the diabetes going up high.
Had to cancel snooker league, Tuesday, tennis on Wednesday and Thursday, and not sure about the weekend coming.
Was meant to be playing as the number one player in the mens doubles and mixed doubles this weekend.
2 mens doubles, 1 mixed doubles, so up to 9 sets of tennis in one day, that's on Sunday (same day as the Davis Cup, tennis semi finals)
Not sure I will feel fit enough, as off work till Thursday

ps congrats titas and faz on your news
Hey Sharon i hope you are feeling better now, enjoy your holiday and keep working out :) I ve been sick for a while and i can t wait to workout this week.
So , I was thinking about trying to write a novel in French, i had an idea and wrote few lines but it seemed hard and i didn t take it seriously. But today i decided to go back to it, and i could write and decided to be keep writing until i finish it and then correct it and improve it.
Finishing a novel is a big achievement, Aymen, whether it is good or bad. So, I say finish it regardless, and then read through it at a later date. You'll see at that point more clearly where improvements can be made. If a novel seems too much of a task, make it a novella.
Thank you David for these advice, yes you are right, i will do what i can and it s going to be short. Great to have the support of authors :)
I'd also say, have an ending in mind. It may change by the time you arrive at it, but I find it helps to have a destination.Remember, there was a time in their lives when every published author had not written a book.
Love this quote in The Robber Bride by Margaret Atwood about why one of the characters likes mysteries:https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7261...
Sean - Happy Birthday and hope you feel better soon.Sharon - hope you feel better soon.
Aymen - go for it with your writing.

I have got an idea but I haven't written anything before. Any honest opinion would be helpful!"I pushed Pit over the wall and looked back. Biki was looking at the bushes. He caught my eyes as he looked back and it was suddenly clear between us that for him it’s over. That’s when the dog leaped. I was too afraid to move. Just stood there and watched as Biki fell on the ground and the dog’s wet face went down on him! Biki was trying to get up but the dog pinned him down. He was fighting and screaming in a muffled voice when the dog bit his throat! As my legs gave up, I fell to the other side of the wall while heard a faint crunch. Pit pulled me out of the heap of leaves. Before I could say anything, the dog barked loud. Pit realized what had happened and peed himself. I pushed him forward and we started running around the pond silently. We were not supposed to make a peep but Pit started crying. That faint scream of Biki was still ringing in my ears. At this height it was already getting harder for us to figure out direction with each step and Pit was losing pace. He was the youngest among us and for him it was too much already. Our plan had gone wrong, horribly wrong. But we all knew from the start that five chicks breaking out of a poultry farm was never a good idea!"
Should I write this?

I haven't read comics for years, i think i m going to change that, it seems there are some interesting Batman's comics ;)
Aymen - I love to read graphic novels - fancier term for comics. Lots of books are now released as graphic novels. I've been reading "the girl with the dragon tattoo", "the girl who played with fire" and have got the final one to read" the girl who kicked the hornets nest" in graphic novel form. There great these days. Beautiful artwork.

I love comics/graphic novels so much, Aymen, please come back reading them! As you are a thriller lover, I highly recommend you the Naoki Urasawa's Monster, Volume 1 series, a poignant story told through amazing artwork.
(you can find a bit more about the story here Naoki Urasawa's Monster, Volume 1: Herr Dr. Tenma).

I agree with Anne, Aymen: Perfect for a kid's book.
Titas/Aymen: You two might want to try reading any of the following graphic novels.
1. Rapunzel's Revenge: A Wild West retelling of the story ( https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... )
2. Pride of Baghdad: A graphic novel about the lions of the Baghdad Zoo in the early days of the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, told from the POV of the lions. ( https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... )
3. Laika: A story about the first animal the Soviets sent into space, told from multiple POV's including that of Laika herself. ( https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... )
4. Jim Butcher's THE DRESDEN FILES: Welcome to the Jungle: A graphic novel set just before the events of the novel STORM FRONT which was Jim's debut novel. ( https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... )
and 5. In time for Halloween: SUPERMAN AND BATMAN VS. VAMPIRES AND WEREWOLVES: Also features Jason Blood/Etrigan, Green Arrow, Nightwing and Wonder Woman. ( https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... )
I have read all 5 of these in the past, as well as a graphic novel adaptation of BEOWULF.
