Puppies that age will do it too, I think.
If there's anyone here who can't stand a "normal" version of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata," would you listen to this version and let me know what you think? The performer is called Dr. Viossy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZuSa...
You're welcome, Loretta. Another one by Beethoven I can't stand is Für Elise. Unless it's this metal guitar version by Cambodian-American artist Lai Youttitham (I hope I spelled it right): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fnc4T...And then there's this one. It's a recording from a live German TV show a couple years ago. RIP Sir Christopher Lee: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djBxe...
Busy watching Strictly Come Dancing Launch 215, a good line up.
Tape X Factor and watch later, then no commercials,
also watching US Open.
Saturday night is my wife and my night for television.
Also tired as always up early for Jewellery Stall for 9-10 hours.

It's about a battle in which the Frankish army, led by Charlemange (played in the video by Sir Christopher Lee), killed over 4,000 Saxon rebels. Verden is the archaic spelling of Verdun. This video was posted when he was only 90.

I'm counting on that Pat!! And that's what i've been waiting for! Historical Heritage is my passion, we have a lot of great things in Tunisia and i want to see more :)
I understand Tunisia has the best preserved of Roman architecture. Germany will be a great place from which to explore Europe. So excited for you.
I have been heartbroken over the destruction of antiquities in Palmyra Syria. And the looting of museums. I know what is happening to the people is more important than buildings/relics but I cannot help but be upset over the destruction of history taking place. The world needs people like yourself Faouzia to help preserve the past and explain why it is so important. You'll do great I'm sure.
Faouzia that is fantastic news! Many many congratulations. Hope you have a fantastic adventure there and that you enjoy every moment. :)
I felt the same about all that destruction Pat, i almost cried for that!! It's the identity of people! Thanks so much for your encouragements Pat, it means a lot to me :)
I hope i'll be good, i'm scared to be honest but i think it's worth it :)
It is HORRIBLE!!!! I don't even bring it up with my mom - it makes her so mad!! (Can you imagine what they'd do if they took over Egypt?? Or Jerusalem?)
David wrote: "I understand Tunisia has the best preserved of Roman architecture. Germany will be a great place from which to explore Europe. So excited for you."Yes David, and the only remaining preserved Medina and much more!! So excited to see more of the world!

Holy Moly! I am currently applying for Doctorate programs in Europe and I can clearly relate to your feelings Faouzia! So congratulations and Best of Luck to you! Have a wonderful time!
Congrats Faouzia!!! All the best for your future studies. It is heartbreaking that people who do not respect history or have tolerance for anything other than their opinions are running amok. Its a sad day for humanity on a whole that we have lost an important connection with out past.
Faouzia, Congratulations on securing your place in the Master's program. I am so proud of you!! I know you will do just fine with the studies taught in English. I also see you being very successful after you earn this degree.
