It seems there has been a mistake at BPL because the books is clearly not aimed at young adults : the main protagonist is ~30 years old, the book is a thriller and I don't want to spoil it but the themes are very much for adults (and so a bit scary to think that a teen would read it...)
Besides, in GR it has not once been shelved as YA.
Therefore I think this is why the book is not in Lexile either (clearly not aimed at students!)
So is there a way to change that?

BPL serves 2.5 million residents and has nearly 60 locations. Sharp Objects is shelved at 4 of 10 locations as YA. When we knew we needed an independent source to determine YA, this is the one we chose.
