My usual Saturday supper is shredded chicken or fish tacos with some red rice and guacamole. I love Mexican food. "
Hmmm, I could see that. I like avocado alone (with salt), regardless.

Secondly a suggestion, any type of baked fish or chicken dish is fairly fast and easy. Coat a baking sheet with aluminum foil and some olive oil cooking spray. Either coated with a nice zesty seasoning (and some lemon juice for fish) or some mayonnaise and parmesan. If it's frozen bake at 350(F) for 20 to 25 minuets on each side for fish or chicken breast tenderloins. If you have full boneless chicken breasts go 400(F). Thawed halve the cooking time.
Doesn't take long and it's good.

Have that. ;-)
I want color in my DTB. *fangurl*

Oh, I know you do... you were the one who told me. :) I was just following up on what you were telling Laurel.

I'm subbing in middle school band..for the next 3 days..this isn't going to be fun.

Which are... What exactly?"
It's basically all the makings for a burrito but instead of a tortilla you use Frito chips. Beans, rice, avocado, tomato, lettuce, cheese...I really enjoy canned pineapple on mine. Maybe pick up a bag of regular tortilla chips so people can make nachos as well? It's so freakin cheap to do haystacks and they are way good. That was always the go to for church activities when I was little. They go a really long way and you can easily feed close to 35 people for under $30.
Nom nom nom...I'm having haystacks this weekend.

I feel a compulsion to go and buy sour cream for some reason, I can't think why..... ;)

Clean Sweep

It's the book Clean Sweep. Do the links I posted show?
If not: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

:-D
It's a first in a new series...

DITTO!

Don't let the ugly example pic upset you! All of the Community posts with reveiws are first, and the non-review posts are condensed (like the example pic) at the bottom! Yay!

You can from the people who wrote the reviews... I've never actually paid attention to the shelves of people who didn't write a review.
Plus, there is also the "Genre Box" which is what I use, personally, anyway.

Good. Everybody should have sour cream.

I did. I started following one girl just because she had really colorful shelves. It's just another way GR is trying to keep people from distributing BBA activity.

BBA?

A lot of people would note BBAs by shelving them - making it easier to avoid running into BBAs. It's been an issue that GR wants to get rid of since being purchased by Amazon. So they are kicking reviewers off the site and making it harder to see that info. I used to use it a lot when I was still dipping my toes in SPA waters. But I saw the writing on the wall pretty early.
So I decided to stop reading SPA books for the most part. Except for romances but only particular SPAs then.

I've followed a bit about the reviewer and shelving issues. If I ever find need, mine will be called QA (Questionable Author). The only one who would be on it right now, however, is Orson Scott Card.
Sorry, don't know" SPA" either. I obviously need to update and expand my personal acronym index.

I'm full of helpful today. :("
You are being helpful, actually. You're teaching me current acronyms. Its all good! :) Thanks.

Ditto. Which reminds me, I need to pack up all the books of his that I bought before I knew he was a vile human being, and figure out what to do with them. Normally I give spare books away to friends but this seems more like a gift for enemies.

What irks me, is that I found out before ever getting to read Ender's Game. I mean we have at least 2 copies (physical and digital), its one of my Hubby's favorite stories. So now I'm torn as to whether or not I want to read it. I refuse to see/buy the movie, though.

So yeah, I'm not torn at all. I've been avoiding him since before I found out I should. Heh

I guess at least if you do read it then no further money is going to him, since it's copies you already own. This is the logic I've used for keeping his books as long as I have, but I find that at this point I don't even want to read them. I just wouldn't be able to get through it without thinking of those views of his I find reprehensible and seeing it reflected everywhere. I read the Homecoming saga when I was about 12 and even though I was too young to pick up on some of the stuff that makes me angry now, it left me feeling... weird.
