Yes, it requires baking.
I have a recipe for chocolate lava cakes for two.
Very little baking involved.

Hubby had to stop me from buying apples when were grocery shopping. Cause more than 3 apples in the house = pie.

Don't front. My apple pie topping has been know to make grown men cry in delight.

Does it include bacon?

No, not yet.
I thought about incorporating some brown sugar caramelized bacon in it but I am nervous. What if it doesn't taste right??

Then you just make sure you have another three apples available for a do-over. :D
My advice - make your pie as normal. Caramelize some bacon. Taste them together. Won't be quite the same as baking it in but should give you an idea.
