LOL! They give you a pattern?"
No, I found one online... linked in 2033.
MrsJoseph wrote: "Hey! I learned to make a cream cheese and jam sandwich in home ec!"I seem to remember some sort of casserole with crushed saltine crackers.
I remain ever proud of that "F" I earned in Home economics.

Lots of fiber though.
If you eat shredded cheese you eat wood. They take cellulose and use it as an "anti caking" agent and most of the time they get the cellulose from tree pulp.
Fun fact!
Not only that, but the cheese that they use for shredding is old stuff. No thanks. We have shred our own cheese for years now.
Talking about cheese, not sure where you all are from, but whenever I am abroad and have cheese, excuse me, but it is never real cheese!! ;)

Are you ok? Do you need a hug or something?? :(

No, I'm NOT ok.
Yes, I do need a hug.
Becky wrote: "MrsJoseph wrote: "My freaking ereader has died. :("What happened??"
It's just dying on me. I don't know why. :(
That sucks MrsJ. Hope you can sort out a solution of some sort.If its dead, can we have a wake? I need a drink.
Can you update your firmware? I thought my nook was dying on me a while back but once I updated the firmware it's fine.
Becky wrote: "What kind do you have?"It's a kobo touch, first gen.
It's been gasping for a while and this was the last gasp. I could try the firmware and see what happens. But I think it's on its way out.

Drinks are always acceptable...

Well... that's a reason to go for the Kobo Aura. Those seem to get really good reviews. I bought a kindle paperwhite a week or so ago and I really like it too. So now I have a nook with glowlight (first gen, not the new one) and a kindle paperwhite.
I just ordered one. O_OI really shouldn't have - hubby told me to wait - but I NEED an ereader.
I put it on the CC.

Wonder what he's going to say...

Hopefully he will be ok with it! :)"
*fingers crossed*
Becky wrote: "LOL... What kind did you order, MrsJ? The aura?"Yeah. And I managed to find a coupon code for about 10% off. That's not much but it sure helped!
Leslie wrote: "I saw that the new Kobo Aura is waterproof. Which is awesome."Yeah but that's the HD version which is bigger (and more expensive!). But I totally want that cause...bath!
I love that edge to edge screen design of the Kobo Aura (the non HD, not aquatic reader) But I already have a Kobo glo, so can't justify it.
Yeah, I like it, too. I'm excited about a new reader but disappointed that my old one broke. Also the reason I refuse to give up my analog books!
Apparently because I read Damascus Nights I also might like a lot of Japanese Manga and German books. I don't really see the connection there at all.
If no one has checked out correlate.org, they should. It's a treasure-trove of absolute mind-boggling inanity. I mean that in the kindest way.Correlation #1198 Trust me. You can't buy this kind of lifechanging information.
http://www.correlated.org/1194I like my feet outside the covers when I sleep too. In fact, most of the time, I have a tiny corner of the blanket covering my hip/belly region and the rest of me is reveling in blanketless.
