Besides it should be added soon anyways I guess, as I know the author is on GR.

I wish. Cause then I'd be rich but unknown and I'd travel the world to all the sites from my favorite books.
And I'd have book butler. And a white-glove library that would travel with me.
*dreams*
But I am a librarian.
Christa wrote: "This has happened to me so many times I no longer put more than two books on hold. Doesn't matter how many copies or how many people ahead of me. Seriously, it's like all those other people on the hold lists are like, "Haha, let's mess with her and cancel all our holds at once." The funny part is that I'd originally only had 3 or 4 books on hold, but several were being ordered by the library - and those can take forever.
I got to the point where I had near nothing to read, so I put a few more books on hold that should've been available quickly.
And, in fairness, they weren't all on the same day - but they are within a few days of each other.
DoodlePanda wrote: "Are you a librarian in real life too?"I wish. That requires a Masters. I've thought about going back and getting it but...cost, man.

Didn't know it required masters :(
Sounds like a great job though, working with books all day :)

Lol. You've tempted me to write a one-star review of a book I've never read just to see the explosion.
She's a popular author too. I've read a few of books. Liked them. That's a shame about her attitude. She should know better.

That's hilarious, I bet she'd make an awesome Mother.
A-.... A FREAKING MINUS!!!!!
Authors behaving badly stories make me laugh.
Homeinmyshoes wrote: "Lol. You've tempted me to write a one-star review of a book I've never read just to see the explosion. "You're so bad, lol.
Nienna wrote: "She's a popular author too. I've read a few of books. Liked them. That's a shame about her attitude. She should know better."inorite? Especially a 4 star review. I mean, really.
But I'm just going to avoid her. My TBR is long enough as it is.
And then I slepped Malazan on top of that.
Anything to trim the list to a size that I might be able to dent...
Ok, one of the...more interesting DNF reviews that I've read in a while.http://www.fangsforthefantasy.com/201...
Totally offtopic, butBook Depository is showing their 2014 bookmark design winners and they are unbelievably great.

Ok... so apparently there is a tv show called ""My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding". .What in the world is a Gypsy Wedding?
Nyssa wrote: "Ok... so apparently there is a tv show called ""My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding". .What in the world is a Gypsy Wedding?"
The little I know of Gypsy weddings it involves very very huge and very colorful dresses
I guess it's pretty much the same as the english tv show where they follow gypsies and their wedding
DoodlePanda wrote: "The little I know of Gypsy weddings it involves very very huge and very colorful dresses "Intresting.
Homeinmyshoes wrote: "^Sounds like a rip-off of a movie from a few years back."
Well yes, the title certainly is.

Homeinmyshoes wrote: "Totally offtopic, butBook Depository is showing their 2014 bookmark design winners and they are unbelievably great."
Oooooh! How do we get them?????!
Nyssa wrote: "Ok... so apparently there is a tv show called ""My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding". .What in the world is a Gypsy Wedding?"
I love that show! They have both the American and Brit version. They're so blingy and trashy. :D I also like Gypsy Sisters.
I understand. It's sadly amazing how people, in general, will search out and exploit the differences in others to mock and ridicule instead of learn or celebrate. / steps off soap box

I come from a town that has a traveller community in it. What you see in my big fat gypsy wedding is exactly how they celebrate a wedding. They are not being exploited that is how they do it. If you think the weddings are trashy you should see their first holy communion and confirmations
I avoid most reality TV (unless they're decorating and/or renovating) it's all a pile of trash to me.

You get a bookmark when you buy a book. I think that's the only way, unless you were a winner of the competition. Who also got a box of books. Drool. I wish I had known about the contest.
I'm not sure when the new ones would start being included with orders, but I've got two books left on my list that are hard to find so I might just get one. Although the last bookmark I got from them disappeared into the four-year-old's clutches.

Reality TV is a palate cleanser for me. When my brain is feeling like mush and I can't focus on reading then I either watch reality TV or catch up on my regular shows. I can only take reality shows in small doses though or at least the trashy ones that's the case. I can watch shows like Treehouse Master, Tanked, House Hunters International and Island Hunters all day.

I'm the second person to ever review the book on here, and the other person gave 5 stars... I'm awaiting s*** to hit the fan any minute now... O.o
MrsJoseph wrote: "I love Treehouse Masters. It's a sickness..."
I need to see an episode of this at some point. I keep hearing about it, but I've never seen it. I have to investigate to see if it's running on TV here :)

You really need to see it.

What data do you need?
book title, author name, ISBN/ASIN, blurb, page number, website, cover pic, etcI don't have to have all of it - title, author and ISBN/ASIN are the most necessary

Ok I'll have a look :)
Never mind, the author has made a GR account now and the book is added :)I was the first person to review O.o
Found this stressful, if anyone looks into the book they will read my review.. So if they don't like it as much as me it will be all my fault!! *panic*
Lol :)
Mention of Alice in Wonderland in the 'username/avatar' thread reminded me of a funny thing that happened at work the other day.I was wearing my Alice in Wonderland skirt and had this exchange with a coworker:
Coworker: Oh, my niece would love that. She's 36 and she still loves Alice in Wonderland.
Me: Why do you say it that way?
Her: What way?
Me: That it's weird to be 36 and still be into Alice in Wonderland.
Her: Well... it kind of is, isn't it? I mean, it's a kid's book, right?
Me: You do realize I'm 35, right?
Watching people try to scramble into a backtrack is hysterical. ;)
