In regards to the Dark Hunter talk. I have read all her DH sereies and was addicted, I can't help it I love SK and her writing. In saying that though Fantasy lover was not her best and didn't have the Darkhunters in them. You can skip it and go back to it later if you are really interested. The first 'darkhuner' book would be
night Pleasures. This really is the first book with a darkhunter in it. But the characters in fantasy lover are mentioned in the book as well. As most of the characters in the books carry over sometime or another into another book.

They were both great. I was just reading the interview's so far i only got as far as wrath but it's great so far. Love BDB!!! My mission for the week is to finish the guide and Aveneged. Zadist is still my favorite!!

I love Z, Vishous and Rhage, but honestly don't care much for Butch or Rehvenge. But I haven't not read Avenged yet so that might still change.

LOL, I keep hearing how good it is and how much everyone loves Rehvenge, but I heard that a lot about Butch and still didn't think much of him after Revealed.
BrandyS wrote: "I love Rhev as well but I like the men from Gena Showalter's books Lords of the Underworld. They are just full of surprises and lots of yummy sex appeal and tortured souls"Im in love of the Lords of the Underworld!! They are so sexy!

I don't know why, but it took me twice as long to get through that book then the other's. . . I tried, I really did and awe man with the chipped tooth, lol, IDK.
Edward Cullen and Vayl still top my list, but I need to add a couple - as I've read some great stuff since then:Dmitri from VA
Zsadist from BDB
Ok, technically its scifi and NOT PNR--but my new "fav man" is Simeon from The City Who Fought. Ok, its a little difficult to DO anything with him (he's a "shellperson") but he's still funny, witty, charming and able.
Having just finished rereading Rachel Vincent's Prey, I've got to add Jace to my list. He really comes into his own in this book and I know we've got even better things to see from him in the coming books.
Thanks girls. Just this morning I read the scene where Eugenie meets Dorian at Maiwenn's baby shower and he tells her what he was thinking of doing to her next time they'd make love(key words: bed, ropes, from behind). And that all in a really conversationally manner. And then after wards his Eugenie look-a-like new lover walks in... Oooooooh so much to look forward to!Dorian gives sex appeal to lazy amusement doesn't he?
I'm not sure, she said something about getting her other books out on time or somethign like that. I think it was originally due in fall 2010? Totally sucks!!!
It does indeed. Although I am glad if she can get the Georgina books out sooner. I don't care for her YA series as I've never read them but I'd like to see how GK ends. I believe she had like 6 books in total and we're waiting for number 5?
Sister mine, you have to read her YA series - Vampire Academy is awesome! But I'm right there with you on the impatient wait for more Georgina. And one day I'll get around to reading Storm Queen, but the first one didn't pull me in like her two other series.
Mel, how much of VA did you read? A couple people I know didn't really get into it till book 2 but it's really good. I haven't started the succubus series yet, but it's on my list :)
DH, the first book is not nearly as good as the second book. I had the same reaction. You have to read TQ!

I've got a thing for those V named guys.

I love V and Rehv too!

LOL, we've got two read exchanges going on now. I'll let you off with just the first VA book, as I've read the first Dark Swan, I just wasn't as taken by it as I was with VA and Georgina (apparently Dorian becomes more appealing, but so far he doesn't hold a candle to either Dimitri or Seth for me - and yes, I'm a freak who likes both of them LOL).Will read this one after Cassie ;)
Aww... I'd vote Vane's book as I think Zarek is a poor substitute for Zsadist, but then my love of Seth would be evidence to many of my questionable taste. LOL
DarkHeart wrote: "...but then my love of Seth would be evidence to many of my questionable taste"You said it ;) Vane's book is how far along the series? Shouldn't I read it chronologically. Our first deal was the DH series for CP series right?

Vane is like 6... I think...I love him to bits.
Vane is the first were hunter, so it's kind of independent, but it does have earlier characters. I mean, Zarek isn't chronological either, but he's earlier on, so go for it. You will be skipping sexy Talon and his Pez dispensers, but so be it. ;)
