Who's the best character to fall in love with?

Michelle M--Mike has been my main heartthrob since I was a girl of 14. Which, when you think about it, might have something to do with what I studied in school (Computer Science.) I wanted to have a chance at finding a Mike of my own.
Um, for those who aren't into SciFi--Mike's actual "name" is High-Optional, Logical Multi-Evaluating Supervisor, Mark IV, Mod. L--a HOLMES FOUR--but he's alive--and convinced that he's really Mycroft Holmes (Sherlock Holmes smarter, older brother.) So, periodically I have to stick up for my "man" on the best character to fall in love with. :o)
However, I also love Eric Northman, Bones, Angel (ok, come on, I know he's from TV, but really, who wouldn't love him, right?) the Beastmaster, Cormac, Barrons. . . Ok, I just love handsome, strong men who try to protect those that they love. (And yeah, Eric DOES protect those he cares about.)

#1 Bones- YUM! (Night Huntress)
2. V & Rehv (although John Matthew is looking like a contender
3. Jace Wayland (Mortal Instruments)
4. Tegan (Midnight Breed)
5. Reyes or Sabin (Lords of the Underworld)

Roarke is from J D Robb's In Death series. And his luscious self is in at least 27 books now.

I love Vishous from BDB. I just finished Lucian Argeneau's book and I love him too. I was looking forward to reading his book since A Quick Bite.

This is my favorite scene of Lucian's book and of the series so far at least:
"Hello?" she said to his groin...
"Are you talking to my penis?" Lucian asked with disbelief.
"It talked to me first," she said defensively, and frowned. "You didn't mention this little skill."
Lucian decided she must be joking and laughed. "So, what did it say?"
"It said, 'Lucian? Lucian, are you there?"
He blinked. "Why would it say that?"
"I don't know. It's your penis".
That's when he recalled the cell phone in his pocket.

It is from Bite Me If You Can which is book 6 in Lynsay Sands' Argeneau series. It is a good one. It is light and funny and quick reads. I'm alternating between that series and another so I don't get burnt out on it

YES! I was think that too!!

They're pretty stand alone, if you want them to be.
I would actually start with

Hey, I LOVE the scene in A Quick Bite where Lissianne walks into her bedroom and finds a naked man tied and gagged on her bed. I mean, come ON. . .
I've read (and loved) all of the books in the series. Altho I have to admit--my fav character IS Margaurite. I mean, a Mum who wants what's best for her children--to the point where she goes out and kidnaps prospective mates for them? Or, in Lissianne's case, a shrink to cure her of her pathological fear of blood (which, you have to admit is a GREAT fear for a vampire.)

It's worth it for Marguerite and the younger cousins!

Oh! Lists are good. I believe I put a list of guys somewhere back in this conversation. I just had to add Jamie. You picked some great guys for your list. I haven't gotten to Valerius' book yet in the Dark Hunter series. I have Vane's book next to read.

ya you don't need to read them in order but it helps I think. It gives you more information about the other characters and sometimes there are inside jokes that you wouldn't be able to get if you don't read some series in order so I always read my books in order. Well I try to at least so I'm in the know :-)
