Yeah but her decisions in Moon Burn were just so much more intensely hurtful than in Better to Hold You.

As a side note, I loved her relationship with her mom and I hope that there is a next one - although, I also wish that Abra beats the tar out of the other were-woman (whose name escapes me)

You can get the first 2 books in the series in The Solar Queen. There are, um 5? 6? books in the series--one of which is actually a novela and come bundles with another story by her Voodoo Planet is the Solar Queen story. There were then 3 later (and I do mean MUCH later--like 35 years between the first set of stories) of which the first frankly sucks Redline the Stars but the other 2 aren't too bad. But you can see the major differences in what people "expect" in a scifi story by comparing the first set with the later 3.


oohh, and ANOTHER of Norton's heros I would LOVE to have is Simon Tregarth from the Witch World series. A classic "if I have the name I might as well DO IT" type misunderstood hero. The first story is set shortly after WWII and the last ones have people from modern (i.e. 2k and above) going to Witch World by either accident or choice.
