Steph Ann - when did you claim Dad - Dawn doesn't have you marked off on her spreadsheet nor is it marked off ours. We can have Dawn fix the spreadsheet - plus did she mark something else off instead of Dad. I didn't look into it that much - just looked at Dad on both ours and her spreadsheet. Hope that made sense

This was a quick enjoyable read, been a while since I read one of these. Ms. Sinclair knows how to write a steamy erotica with a plot. I really enjoyed Beth and Nolan. This may be my favorite so far.

That's what I get when I try to get on here at work like I did yesterday. My bad.

Review: This is Garrett Kelly's story. Lattimer Marcus kills Allen Cross and Lattimer's sister Sarah gets to the building to late to stop her half brother from murdering the man who raped her - as in Lattimer has just pulled the trigger as she is about to step into the office. She realizes she is a witness to a crime and doesn't wish to have to testify against the only family she has left. She takes off for parts unknown. Resnick(CIA) has tracked her down and requests Garrett to keep track of her as they feel this is a way to get close to Lattimer and capture him for his crimes.
For me this story wasn't as good as the first two, Didn't really feel the spark between Garrett and Sarah. Quite honestly I thought Sarah was a little bit of an idiot for not realizing truly what her half brother was. That said it is always fun to have a glimpse into the crazy world of the Kelly family and this story was no different. Was nice to catch up on what was happening with Sam/Sophie (pregnant - new baby), Ethan/Rachel and the rest of the gang. Still planning to continue this series.
Mom - p13 ...she's done well since Mom took her in hand...
Rain - p75 He loved a good thunderstorm. Yt was a perfect evening to kick back with a beer and listen to the rain. Soon the rain picked up and fell with a steady rhythm.
Camp- p162 Logging camp and a lodge are all that's there...
Moon - p67 The moon was barely visible as it crept over the horizon.
Coat - pg 1 Drawing the Armani suit coat closed....
I haven't forgotten. I meant to bring my book to work today so I could update - alas it is sitting on my counter at home. I will get this done tonight from home.

While I wouldn't say this was a super strong first book in a series, it was still enjoyable. I think my biggest problem was I felt like I was just thrust into the world without any back story. In retrospect, I should have read the prequel. That being said, it didn't take me long to get caught up in the action once I got acclimated to the world. I really liked that each of the sisters had a completely different set of powers. Celia's "allergy" to other animals was hilarious in one particular scene. I liked it enough that I will definitely be picking up the next book!

So we can finish this next week, based on what's called. As of last week we were in second place. If possible lets all of us find a couple of quickie books that have what we need plus as many other words depending on the call. Cross your fingers snow, tree, or prayer gets called! As long as Z gets camp this week anything called from the summer category will work too.
Alright ladies it comes down to us and the orange team today in matter what is called. Read like the wind lol once the item is called.

I brought 6 books to work with me today, plus my Kindle, so I should be all set to read something once my lunch hour gets here. Stupid work getting in the way of my scavenger hunt reading, lol.
I thought their was but when I searched it on the kindle the only thing that came up was "snowboarding"
Ok well here's what we need:Z: snow, tree
M: snow, tree, prayer
J: snow, tree, prayer
SA: snow, tree, prayer
I have two books that will work and let me claim all of my remaining items. Now to decide which one sounds better before my lunch hour gets here, lol.
I have to say that was the one bonus word I didn't want ~ go figure. I had a book with all the other words avail but that!!
The orange team has two reviews in. I'm about 1/2 way done, trying to read if the world would leave me alone.....

I got a quarter of my book done over my lunch hour. I've told my fiance tonight can be a video game night for him, so hopefully I can do nothing but read tonight and get the book finished!

Review: Zarek is the illegitimate son of a Roman general, who was treated cruelly by his father and brothers then to be sold into slavery and the cruelty continues. He has in the previous books been rather gruff and generally unlikable. Astrid is blind but can see straight to the truth of the matter. This is a very emotionally charged book as you see into aspects of Zarek's past that makes him the way that he is - so heart breaking. Loved Zrek and Astrid's story. These are always the best books - reminds me of Z and Bella's story from BDB series. Throw in the Heifer Bitch Goddess doing crap, Simi just being her - where is the BBQ ☺, the Squires and of course Archeron. Awesome book. Even better the second time around!!
Fireworks p21 Ahh, fireworks. How he loved them.
Sunshine p 175 He held his hand up, to cut the glare from the foreign sun.
Snow p44 The snow was falling so fast and thick that it looked like a thick dense white wall.
Tree p22 My best advice for that is to climb a tree....
Prayer p145 He breathed her name like a gentle prayer.

This was a reread and I loved it just as much the second time. I'd forgotten how hot D'mitri was. This is such an underrated series! IMO it's better than BDB and MB. I wish Gabriel would get a book soon, I adored him in this one and he made the perfect partner in crime with D'imtr.

I've been putting off reading this because I really didn't want the series to end. Now that it has though, I can't wait to go back and re-read it! It's amazing to see how far Jax has come since the first book. This installment was really everything a final book should be. There was tons of action and many great moments with March, Vel, and Z. I'm left feeling very satisfied, which is a great feeling to have!
