LOL Penney. I had Nobody's Angel by Karen Robards opened. I was reading at lunch and I have a horrible habit of leaving windows open even when I am not using it on my laptop, and I tend to do that with my work computer too, because its not like anyone else will use it. D'Oh and it was open to a particularly scene and I am on the phone, trying not to laugh and groan at myself.

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Ezinwanyia~Mord'Sith,
Here are your picks. I hope you can find something you like. You have a lot of great-looking reads on your To-Read shelf, but it was difficult to get them to fit into these categories! If you don't see anything here you like, please let me know and I will be happy to choose more for you. The ones I have chosen are quite a mixture of things, but hopefully something will appeal to you!
1.April Fools' Day: And One Last Thing ... or Julia's Chocolates- one of my all-time favorites with some hilarious scenes
2.April Showers: Garden Spells or The French Gardener
3.U.S. Tax Day:Love in Maine - a bad bet - definitely about money! - or How to Murder a Millionaire - a great story with a broke main character, her mob-connected love interest, and her crazy sisters (oh, and a mystery on top of all that)
4.Major League Baseball: The Practice Proposal - truly about baseball or Simply Irresistible - because of the outdoor skating scene on the cover
5.Diamond: Since diamonds often mean engagements, which lead to weddings: The Gathering Storm- paranormals in the Russian aristocracy, one of whom is betrothed to an evil family of vampires; or Love's Rhythm- also involving a wedding
6.Earth Day - Some books about ranchers and women in the West: The Calling of Emily Evans by Oke or any of the Callahans of Texas series by Sharon Gillenwater that you haven't yet read
7.Patriot's Day: Forged in Fire or any of Christina Skye's Code Name books which feature sexy Navy SEALS and other hot military types, for example, Code Name: Princess or Code Name: Bikini
8.D.E.A.R. Day: A new genre that you might like, Backstage Passor one from a genre you seem to like: Highlander Most Wanted

I hope you see something you like; if not, PLEASE let me know and I will choose more for you!

Pam | 1048 comments LethalLovely-
Wow--I had trouble matching your TBR to the list requirements so here goes...hopefully something will strike your fancy. I spent a long time wandering among your shelves.

April Fool's Day--these made me laugh out loud
Bobbie Faye's Very (very, very, very) Bad Day or Trail of the Spellmans You might try one of Janet Evanovich's # series, only because from your profile, I think you would enjoy Lula. You can start at the beginning with One For The Money or pick up anywhere--she explains everything in each book. Plus Ranger is hot.

April Showers: You don't have any Nora Roberts or Julia Quinn on your list--traditional romances with flowers on the cover The Next Always or Just Like Heaven. More up your alley with the kickass heroine try Silver Borne (okay I'm stretching it with the flower tattoo). You haven't read past the first one--they really only get better.

Tax Day Not Quite Dating seems to fit the bill. Haven't read it or the author so this is a shot in the dark

Major League Baseball Stealing Parker or Sliding Home

Diamond Again total shots in the dark Heartstrings and Diamond Rings or Beach Cafe by Lucy Diamond

Earth Day In Rainshadow Road the hero owns a vineyard. In Phantom Waltz a rancher

Patriots Day: Finally from your TBR Gunmetal Magic, another Ilona Andrews or The Bronze Horseman

DEAR: Continue on withIced or try The Demon's Lexicon. One of my favorite all times kick ass heroines is from Dana Stabenow. The first in the series is A Cold Day For Murder--Kate only gets better but I think they need to be read in order.

Hopefully something here works for you! I feel like this is a happy cheerful month and you do seem to read more on the dark side :)

Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews - The main characters play tricks on each other throughout the whole series, it's apart of their courting ritual :)

Eragon by Christopher Paolini - Inheritance is in the series name, sounds good to me! I read it awhile ago and it was pretty good.

4. Major League Baseball Opening DayRecommend a book with outdoors as a setting. Or involves outdoor sports/activity -

Track of the Cat by Nevada Barr - Takes place outside!

This Heart of Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips - I enjoyed the first book in this series, I look forward to reading more!

6. Earth Day (April 22) are planned to inspire attentiveness and admiration for the Earth's surroundingsRecommend a book with environmental issues. Or read a book with characters that work with their hands (farmers, ranchers, etc) -

Hoot by Carl Hiaasen - Deals with Environmental Issues

Moon Called by Patricia Briggs - She's a mechanic, so she works with her hands!

7. Patriot’s Day in observance of the anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the first battles of the American Revolutionary WarRecommend a book with character(s) involved in the military or private para military groups. Or recommend a book that is fast action-packed. Or since it is also the start of the Boston Marathon, recommend a book where the character is a runner -

Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand - Awesome WW2 Story!

Ceremony in Death by J.D. Robb - Always enjoy an In Death book, I think they're pretty action packed!

8. Drop Everything and Read (April 12) D.E.A.R is a national month-long celebration of reading designed to remind folks of all ages to make reading a priority activity in their livesis a free for all. Hey Jojo - love the picks :)

I haven't ever read a Kristen Ashley and I so want to - I've just been waiting for someone to push me! (I was hoping KA could edge out JRWard for the year-long buddy read! ;)...

So - I'm thinking I'll try to find Rock Chick (Rock Chick, #1) by Kristen Ashley or The Gamble (Colorado Mountain, #1) by Kristen Ashley to read this month. ...Unfortunately I don't think they are available to me on Audible :(

And I will definitely try to read some of those books from my q2gb2013 shelf! I have to knock all of them off this coming quarter - so chances are good, I'll read the ones you pulled out :)

I'm also tossing up on reading Cake Icing, Butt Budder & Tea Lids by Renee Andrews if I have time, given it is only $1 on Amazon :)
