It’s not whether you win or lose.

Let me start by saying that I had been "warned" about Clint, the hero in this book, beforehand. Nevertheless, I decided to give him a chance since some readers really liked his "extreme alphaness". I could go for it, if he convinced me he truly loved Morganna, the heroine. Oh boy, what can I say now?...

Clint was a major jerk and I failed to see any redeeming qualities in him. There wasn't even a hint of groveling in the end to make him less undesirable. He just liked telling Morganna what to do,

I'm really struggling with this series (I also read the first book in the Elite Ops series and was somewhat ambivalent about it as well). I know many love Lora Leigh but I'm not sure she works for me. Perhaps I should give one of her other series a try before I close the book on this author for good.

I really really liked this book! 4.5 stars... The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was that I thought it was about 30- 40 pages too long, and the story could have been wrapped up earlier. With that being said, I still really enjoyed it!

Morganna is a girly girl who likes to dance, party and have a good time! She's also very smart and serious about her career in the DEA. No one knows she's in the DEA however, because she knew that Clint- the man she's been pining away for since she was a kid

With a sexy yet tortured alpha-male hero, a spunky, stubborn female lead and a reunited lovers theme. First off, Auntee, thanks so much for letting me borrow these SEAL books of Leigh's. I'm enjoying them a bunch!

Before I started this book, Auntee gave me a little forewarning that if I didn't like this one, to keep going with the series because it got better. So I wasn't really sure whether I'd like this book or not.

Turned out I loved it. A lot. Not quite 5-star LOVED, but close. I know some didn't quite like this book for a couple of reasons: it was tamer than Leigh's erotic-rom

Well, this is definitely a sizzler, let me tell you! I’ve now joined the Leigh club and got a taste of her writing.:)

Clint is strongest Uber Alpha I’ve ever read about. It took me a while to like him, because at first I wanted to tell him back off and shove it. As a child he had an abusive father, who took out his rage over his wife’s cheating on his son. Clint hid this from everyone, even his best friend, Reno. He spent most of his childhood at Reno’s house, and grew to like his younger sister,

#2 Tempting SEALS - Romantic Suspense - 4.5 stars

Ultra-uber Alpha Clint McIntyre, on leave from his military SEALS duties, discovers his best friend's sister Morganna in a sex club, working undercover as a DEA agent.

Tough-as-nails Clint is thrown into the emotional stratosphere. He and Morganna have been flirting and dancing around each other for years, and he's determined as hell to watch her back (read: stalk her) until he can convince her to abandon her assignment "for her own safety."

This book was so bad that I would probably never read another Lora Leigh book again except I have read other books by her that were very enjoyable. The plot in Dangerous Games was not only weak but oh so boring. Lora did not take any time to investigate Navy Seals because she started the book out stating that Clint had joined the Army when he was in the Navy. Let's see, she also had Navy Seals based in Atlanta and killing people with total disregard for the law. Navy Seals are not spies/spooks w ...more
5 stars - Romantic Suspense

The Tempting SEALS romance/action/suspense series by Lora Leigh is scalding HOT, and Dangerous Games featuring uber alpha male Navy SEAL Clint "Iceman" McIntyre and DEA undercover agent Morganna Chavez is a serious scorcher. Even though the plot is a tad unbelievable and convoluted, Lora Leigh still delivers sizzling hot action and romance and creates enough drama, angst, and intrigue to keep interest for future books in the series. Be warned that this book is explicit

When I started this book, I approached it with a bit of trepidation. I'd read some reviews of it where people were turned off by the fact Clint, the hero, was lusting after Morganna, his best friend's sister, from the time she was jailbait. Thankfully, LL skimmed rapidly thru that and by the time they did eventually give into their heated feelings for each other she was in her mid twenties.

This all became a quick twinge of annoyance for me, because the thriller aspect of the tale engaged me from

I haven't read the first story in this series, the short story Reno's Chance in the anthology, Honk If You Love Real Men so I felt a little lost when guys started popping up left and right. I just felt like I was inundated with too much information too fast. The plot also looked more intricate than it really was and when it finally unfolded, I felt let down. The bad guy and girl were just too pathetically stupid after all that buildup.

Clint McIntyre was the type of guy who was way more complica

This was awful. It took me so long to slog through it because it was so mind-numbingly boring and made no sense it was hard to muster any interest in it. It seemed that Clint was made into this Dom type and BDSM was just thrown in because it was trendy. There is nothing BDSM-like in this book remotely realistic.

Also, I know very little about the military, but even I know that you don't join the ARMY to become a NAVY SEAL. WTF? Did the author do zero research? I mean just a simple google search c

Started off completely hating it and even put it down twice, but in the end it wasn't so bad. Clint didn't redeem himself until the end, and he was more jerk than Alpha male.
I don't get people who pine after someone for ages, and open themselves up to hurt like the heroine Morganna did, but it seemed to work in this one. There was also bit of a story, which usually isn't the case in Lora Leigh's books

I really enjoyed reading this book and i couldn't put it down till i finish it. It was an awesome ride. Full review coming soon.
Hmmmmm....I am not sure about this hero....

He denied the heroine for 8 years and was sleeping around enjoining his sexual life in every variations whist the heroine was being hurt for 8 years by his rejection because she loved him and he did not reciprocated the same feelings towards her is not a fantasy I wanted to indulge myself to!

My fantasy hero has to be more determined towards the lady of his heart and definitively less of a manwhore that is very open to having sex with strangers, but not
Poor writing. Hero and heroine are way too over the top with each other. The hero is a neanderthal. Couldn't wait for the "story" to be finished.

Erotic activities in sex clubs with good guys and bad guys. Ok but not recommended for buying.

I wasn’t emotionally drawn into the story. It was easy to put down. The ending was happy but didn’t elicit the emotions I like to feel at the end of the book. It was predictable. Nothing surprised or delighted me. The writing was ok. It didn’t have any of my major pet peeves.

This was a typical good guys fighting bad guys with moles and spies in each others’ camps. Clint and Reno are Navy SEALS. They gre

As a big fan of Lora Leigh, I liked this book a good deal though it wasn't my favorite. I was curious to read about Clint since he seems to irritate a lot of readers, even those who love Alphas. I really didn't think he was that bad as far as his controlling tendencies (keeping in mind this is fiction and not real life). In fact, he seemed to like it when Morganna didn't put up with his crap but gave it right back to him.

One of the reviews I read talked about him trying to keep Morganna from th

I did enjoy this, however, I do have just a couple of issues with this and I suspect that I may have given this such a high rating because I am still basking in the glow of the HEA.

Clint is an alpha male, with a troubled upbringing, who is used to getting his own way. He's into BDSM and does not appear to have much in the way of emotions. He very busy running in the other direction from his best friends sister, Morganna.

Morganna has loved Clint forever, but after many years of loving him from a
Morganna Chavez wanted to make a difference. She was tired of wanting a man that didn't seem to want her and working a job she hated and she was lonely. When Navy SEAL Clint “Iceman” McIntyre came home this time and saw his best friend's sister Morganna work the men in the club as she danced with abandon, he was sure the days of trying to think of her as a kid were forever gone.

Clint knew why he was at a club you went to when you had a certain agenda. Morganna's presence meant she'd grown up en

Overall, I actually really liked this book. Morganna was tough, yet feminine and Clint was definitely Alpha, and tortured. What did bother me, was that I could not handle the fact that Clint kept rejecting her, for 8 freaking years. is he insane? And he keeps doing that later, when everyone knows that they love each other. For a Dom, he was pretty masochistic. Too much baggage, so not exactly my type. I think alphas who are just alphas because they are (not because of crappy childhoods) are my t ...more

Not as entertaining as Leigh's Breeds books.

The date-rape drug plot has potential, but there are constant references to events that have no foundation or build up.

Another problem is the lack of realistic characterization. Although Morgana is supposedly a DEA agent of some kind, she has absolutely no skills in this area and her only qualification seems to be that she looks good in a mini-skirt.

Clint is a compelling tortured hero despite his domineering tendencies but how
Considering I couldn't stand Clint for about, oh, 75% of the book, I'm very surprised that I ended up rating this book as highly as I did. I think I've probably been oversaturated by Lora Leigh lately. But this one ended up on a great note. I thought Morganna's character was absolutely awesome...I really liked her a lot. The sex scenes were absolutely incredible and very, very detailed. Clint did end up redeeming himself in the last 25% of the book, and there was a lot left open for future books ...more

Enjoyed this romantic suspense. it certainly was hot! However, I am NOT a fan of the H or h constantly pushing away, it's just gets so bloody old and Cliint did this the. Whole. Way. Through. He did my freaking head in. Morganna redeemed the book for me, without her this would have been a serious fail.

On to the next one, please let that not be a push-away fest like this one was

Can I have this alpha male please.......... wow hot or what. This story was hot and thrilling and had me hot under the collar on many occasions. The sexual chemistry and heat coming off the pages should have set the book alight. The suspense part of the story was fantastic too, even Clint's tortured soul sat well with the overall feel of the book. This is a thrill ride you dont want to get off!!
I thought this book was going to go one direction and was pleasantly relieved that it didn't. This author is very graphic in her sex scenes. The main characters were into S & M and this book was not for me. ...more
