If you like what you see on the shelf, you have some real treats ahead of you, then!!
Nice work, Randy! I should do a total soon, too...Curious if I've hit 50 yet. /shame

I’m still on track to catch up in about 25 years when taking into account the 24 new books added each year. :)

I just loved Weaveworld

I have a number of the others on my shelves at the moment (I finished The Night Circus yesterday) and I picked up Leviathan Wakes from the library yesterday so it looks like it will be read next.

In any case, I made a list of the books I read or plan to read soon:

Leticia, this looks like a really good set of books for a goal! Good mix of short and doorstop, quirky and serious, light and dark...I hope you find some new favorites in there :D

That is awesome Coralie! I have about 40 missing and falling further behind every month.

Seems like a lot of my tastes run slightly differently from the majority. Also I like to finish series and looks like most series are represented by the first book in it only. So that accounts for things like Elric, George and the Dragon, Garret P.I. and all the others that are weighing down my shelves.
Karen
Still pretty good, Karen!! Better than me. I'm also not sure I think all of these are my picks (even the ones I helped pick!) but it's nice to get new ideas sometimes :)

I loved the George and the Dragon. It was a very fun read.

But I am getting so many ideas , keep it up

I exported them to a spreadsheet and keep track there

exported what, the bookshelf list??? I have been doing a spreadsheet of what I read to keep track particularly if a new book comes out for a series , although I use fict fact for that as well.
this sounds interesting

so I will try it one day. although just got home after 5 hours and it is time to read

Now:
65/261 = 24.9% total
22/132 = 16.67% of the sci-fi shelf
43/129 = 33.33% of the fantasy shelf
DNF: 1

As of 31 July 2018:
Books read : 51/ 263
Books owned but not yet read : 16
I was expecting much lower maybe in the high 30s. Should get that number close to 60 by the end of the year.

Good to see that I own a few that are on the list... now I just need to read them:)

Looking forward to it! David
