...unless I start winning. Then you will bow before Zod!"
Bring it on :D

BOOM! Coralie brought a rocket launcher to a gun fight! Supe and General gonna take that sitting?
Edit to add: this is all incredible, you folks are committed to the cause!

Have I ever told you that you're my hero?

@all the achievers...you could send your way through all the buddy/extra reads to determine ultimate domain ace....not sure why I'm prompting completion though since I personally like having a contact list of books to choose from that are most likely good reads.

Kim may be king but I will still bow to Zod if he gets ahead ;)

That's why I try and read all the runner-ups :P

*sniff sniff*"
Aww, no it's more reason to read all the books!

Although, my mind just might blow a fuse at the thought of going back and reading all of the runner ups.

Is it suddenly hot in here?

This year I've managed to get myself up to a current total of 49, and am currently reading 50/51. I was hoping to do more, but the summer got busy and I got off track, so now I'm furiously trying to catch up, which is being made easier by audio books.

I’m not likely to ever catch up with all the books, though. I normally only average about a book a week. I’ve had more reading time this year so I’m a little bit ahead of that average, but we add 24 books to the shelf per year, not everything I read is on the shelf, and series books will always set me back since I prefer to read a series all at once if I’m enjoying it. The group shelf has a lot of books that stand alone or are the first book in a short series, but it also has things like Discworld. :) 17 of the books I’ve read this year have been from Discworld, interspersed with other things because not even I can read a 40+ book series all in one shot without burning out.
But I love the group shelf. It gives me a good variety of books to choose from in my two favorite genres. I added most of them to my eReaderIQ watch list, with the exception of books that are part of a series that’s still being written. Whenever those books go on sale for $3 or less, I grab them and add them to my TBR list. I also really enjoy going back and reading the old group discussions after I’ve finished reading a book.

And since we did discuss female authors in another thread, might be useful to set up a female author challenge next year.

Then again, I only joined last month, so the only book I read for this club is Pawn of Prophecy.

Great job Hank!! No shame in that number. I thought I'd hit 50 but I'm at 47/225. Been slowing way down on my scifi lately, but what I've read this year (for the most part) was excellent!
I'm up to 63. I also own 40 some titles I haven't read yet, so that should keep me reading for the next year.
