Nice, Patrick! Sometimes it's fun to go back and rediscover old favorites or things we missed :)

Haha! Nothing like a little competition to focus the immediate tbr! I will of course be following all your reviews ;)

The ones I have read, I read before I joined the group, but looking over the list I found so many books I want to read.
Raucous, that's a great start!
B, I love that you're thinking about your 2019 challenges! We have a "Read All the Books" challenge for our bookshelf that will be back next year, so bring it!!

I've also got another 16 on my TBR list. I better get busy reading!

Really? Weird. If I go to your group's bookshelf and I type Outlander it's there. :O. It's a fantasy after all. If I made a mistake then I don't know how to use the bookshelf properly. Please explain.
You can't use the search at the top, that just searches the whole site. If you use the search at the left, only books that are greyed out are the ones on the shelf--that's the search Anna and I use to add books to the shelf. You can also sort by title or author and check that way :)

I see. Thanks. Next, I'll do better. I'll post as soon as I read something. Sorry. Thanks, You could add that book on your shelf. It's a cool fantasy.

I'll try. Thanks.

Books are nominated by members and then voted on by the group (mostly). It is usually based on a particular theme, so if a theme comes up that Outlander matches (like “time travel” or “Scotland” or “turned into a TV series” or whatever), you can nominate it for everyone to vote on.
If it gets the most votes, it becomes a monthly read and goes on the group bookshelf.

I am still waiting for the poll with 4 twilight novels plus the one you really want us to read.

loved the Twilight Saga. Great. Then I'll try. If I figure out how to nominate properly and if I have time ;)

No problem. I figured you’d want to know how the group worked. 😜

Stock up on No-Doz and Red Bull and let’s power through this!

Still, I've got some reading to do and it's great to have a list to reference!

I should try to add more of these books in my bookpool like last year.

In my defense, I joined this group this month :)
Welcome, Paul! So many great books ahead of you if reading off the shelf is a goal of yours :) Let us know how it goes!

Shocked myself -- 138. That's actually over half way.
So, only 11 more years of reading 36 Club books a year (12 over the 24 new additions...) and I can claim to have "Read All The Books"©™®.

This year I read 31 books from the group shelf, but 2 were books I’d read previously (the Hobb books) so they didn’t affect my total. However, a couple books were added that I had already read in previous years, so I received retroactive “credit” for those. Bottom line, I’m at 43.6% now -- 119 out of the 273 books currently on our shelf.

Okay, I think I counted right, but maybe not, I got distracted by the judging on GBBO. So, either I'm at 91 or maybe 87 but at least I was there when this batch made their shortbread cookies (I'm sorry, it sounds weird when I call cookies biscuits, I hardly have the right to talk about American biscuits because of my ultra Northern accent).

If I read 25.5 group books in 2019 I'll be at 50%. I should be able to manage that.

There are some books on the group shelf that I’m not sure I’m all that interested in, but most are of interest for sure.
