I read one book by Louise Erdrich in my RL library book group and it just didn't grab me. After reading many positive comments about her books, though, I decided I should give her another try, so I read The Round House - and I certainly am glad I did! This one was a 5* read for me.

I first chose option A, and read Speaking from Among the Bones. Flavia is a strong female character for any age, much less an 11 year old!
For my second book, I chose option B, and read Plan Your Prosperity: The Only Retirement Guide You'll Ever Need, Starting Now--Whether You're 22, 52 or 82, with the word "guide" in the subtitle.

20.6 Alex’s Mess. Alex, I am so impressed that you read most books in a language which is not your first. That’s a true accomplishment. For this task I chose Option 4, and I read a book by my favorite contemporary Gothic writer, Peter Straub. It makes me happy to read a good book by this great writer who models his work after Henry James, and at the same time it makes me sleepless, as his books are some of the scariest around!
I read Lost Boy, Lost Girl by Peter Straub and gave it five stars.
