Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Ok Aarati, here are your picks for this month. My bed is calling me so I'll have to make this pretty quick, lol.

1. Vanilla: Wait for You (tbr), this was a sweet story and I'd definately calll her shy. Naked in Death (tbr), very heavy on the police procedural, but Eve and Rourke are one of the very best fictional couples. Making Faces (new), sweet and heart wrenching story. Radiance (new), I was recently introduced to this book and just fell in love. Just imagine two different species that find eachother revolting, thrown together in marriage.
Wait for You (Wait for You, #1) by J. Lynn Naked in Death (In Death, #1) by J.D. Robb Making Faces by Amy Harmon Radiance (Wraith Kings, #1) by Grace Draven

2. Mint Chocolate Chip: A Kingdom of Dreams (tbr), I loved the heroine in this story; super sassy! Dragon Actually (tbr), the beginning of a very funny series. Just don't take it too seriously and you'll enjoy it. Play (new), a very nice follow up to Lick. Knight Awakened (new), a great historical with a paranormal twist.
A Kingdom of Dreams (Westmoreland, #1) by Judith McNaught Dragon Actually (Dragon Kin, #1) by G.A. Aiken Play (Stage Dive, #2) by Kylie Scott Knight Awakened (Circle of Seven, #1) by Coreene Callahan

Strawberry: Tiger's Curse (tbr), I don't always like the heroines in YA novels, but this one is great. The Scribe (tbr), I just finished this book and loved it! Ten Tiny Breaths (new), a very interesting read with a few twists and turns. Seven Years (new), I just finished this one as well. I loved certain parts and questioned others. It's still worth the read.
Tiger's Curse (The Tiger Saga, #1) by Colleen Houck The Scribe (Irin Chronicles, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter Ten Tiny Breaths (Ten Tiny Breaths, #1) by K.A. Tucker Seven Years (Seven, #1) by Dannika Dark

4. Pralines 'n' Cream: Eighth Grave After Dark (tbr), 'nuf said. Sweet Filthy Boy (tbr), set in france and really funny so you can't go wrong. The Unleashing (new), Norse mythology set in modern times with a lot of zany humor. Flowers from the Storm (new), I feel bad referring the hero as "nutty" however at that point in history he was considered as such. This was an historical romance that didn't follow any of the genre rules. I loved it!
Eighth Grave After Dark (Charley Davidson, #8) by Darynda Jones Sweet Filthy Boy (Wild Seasons, #1) by Christina Lauren The Unleashing (Call of Crows, #1) by Shelly Laurenston Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale

I hope you find something here you'll enjoy. Happy Reading!

Here are my picks for you. I hope you find something you like.

1. Vanilla
TBR: Rock Me - You HAVE to read this! I loved this story so much. :D
NEW: The Year We Fell Down - I'm not really a big fan of New Adult romances but this one was quite charming.
NEW: Goddess of Spring - Definitely a series to be read out of order. Some books in the series can be skipped entirely, imo. :P My personal favorites from this series are 2, 4 and 6.

2. Mint Chocolate Chip
TBR: Heaven, Texas - I'm a big fan of SEP. :)
TBR: Just the Sexiest Man Alive - Spicy!
NEW: The Dom Who Loved Me

3. Strawberry
TBR: Sugar Daddy - This was recommended to me last month, so now I'm passing this one forward!
NEW: Runabout - This is another book from awhile back. I don't really like small town, americana, historical romances but this author won me over. It's a little slow burning, but I found it delicious.

4. Pralines n Cream
TBR: The Secret - One of the most popular romances from this author. It's been about two decades since I read this. I wonder how it holds up against today's romance standards. Do let me know if you read this. :)
NEW: Tangled - I haven't read this but it looks interesting.

BONUS- BUDDY READ
TBR: Beautiful Bastard - I keep meaning to read this but I'm always putting it off. If you'd like to do a buddy read with me, I'm game to read this. :)

Thanks, Diane, these look GREAT!! There are so many good ones that I don't even know where to start, but I will certainly find one or two or eight or so! I have already read the Jennifer Crusie one, but there are so many others that you don't need to send a substitute. (And if by some reason I read every single one of your other picks and have absolutely nothing to read at home, wink wink, snicker snicker, I will let you know - don't hold your breath, though, since my current 'physically in my house' TBR stack is nearing 2,000! Shhh- don't tell anybody that, though - it can be our little secret - ha! - lol!)

Here are your picks for July! Enjoy!

1. Vanilla- The most popular ice cream flavor in the United States.
Wildest Dreams (NEW) - Wonderful fantasy and the first book of Kristen Ashley's Fantasyland series, which is very popular and one I love!
The Bride (NEW) - Witty and funny historical romance. I'm surprised this wasn't on your read or TBR shelf. Jamie is a great heroine and also an innocent.
Dreaming of You (TBR) - 2nd book where you've already read the first book. I read this years ago when I was in junior high/high school and remembering I loved it. Heroine is an innocent.
Looking for Trouble (TBR) - She's a librarian and he's a biker, sounds like a great contemporary sexy romance.
Wildest Dreams (Fantasyland, #1) by Kristen Ashley The Bride (Lairds' Fiancées, #1) by Julie Garwood Dreaming of You (The Gamblers, #2) by Lisa Kleypas Looking for Trouble (Jackson Girl's Night Out, #1) by Victoria Dahl

2. Mint Chocolate Chip- This flavor is very popular in the Southwest U.S.
Rocky Mountain Heat (NEW) - Contemporary cowboy. Very good (sexy) book and first in the series. Great news is that it is free on amazon.
The Bounty (NEW) - Historical western steamy romance. First in the series and if you have a Scribd account the entire series is on there.
Whitney, My Love (TBR) - I recently found a paperback copy of this at the train station and grabbed it right away. She doesn't have any of her books on Kindle or ebook format. A great read, but make sure you have tissues at hand since this one had me tearing up a bit. Whitney's got a bit of sass in her.
The Marriage Lesson (TBR) - She writes anonymous stories about Thomas Effington a future duke. She sounds a bit sassy.
Rocky Mountain Heat (Six Pack Ranch, #1) by Vivian Arend The Bounty (Malloy Family, #1) by Beth Williamson Whitney, My Love (Westmoreland Saga, #2) by Judith McNaught The Marriage Lesson (Effingtons, #3) by Victoria Alexander

3. Strawberry- Strawberries are best picked and ripest in Summer.
Seduction and Snacks (NEW) - This book is laugh out loud funny. It is a MUST READ!!! Claire is a baker and her best friend sells sex toys (doesn't that make you want to read this book?)
Hot in Here (NEW) - He's a playboy chef and also a dirty talker. This is a friends to lovers story.
Where I Belong (NEW) - This is set in the Alabama summer and is an enemies (when they were kids) to lovers story. Very good book!
Kitty and the Dead Man's Hand (TBR) - This is the closest thing I could find that would be summer. Set in Las Vegas and the weather there always feels like summer. Paranormal contemporary romance.
Seduction and Snacks (Chocolate Lovers, #1) by Tara Sivec Hot in Here by Sophie Renwick Where I Belong (Alabama Summer, #1) by J. Daniels Kitty and the Dead Man's Hand (Kitty Norville, #5) by Carrie Vaughn

4. Pralines n Cream- This flavor is made with Praline nuts (which came from France)and caramel.
My Coyote Ugly Life (NEW) - She's a nut and he's an alpha male chief of police. Very funny and I'm impatiently waiting for the next book to this series.
Until November (NEW) - Very good and funny book. Start of a series. My faves are this 1st book and the 4th book.
The Care and Taming of a Rogue (TBR) - The hero seems a bit nutty since he brings his pet monkey when he visits the heroine.
Murphy's Law (TBR) - This one looks like a good funny book.
My Coyote Ugly Life (My Life, #1) by Jessica Spoon Until November (Until, #1) by Aurora Rose Reynolds The Care and Taming of a Rogue (Adventurers’ Club, #1) by Suzanne Enoch Murphy's Law (Law, #2) by Lori Foster
