Please recommend a book found on a current popular list or a book you have loved and/or your friends have loved too and/or a book with a librarian/shy/innocent main character.

TBR: : I fell in love with this author and her books the minute I picked them up.
NEW: : I noticed you had some Colleen Hoover on your shelves but not this one. Such a good read. Cannot wait for the movie.

2. Mint Chocolate Chip- This flavor is very popular in the Southwest U.S.

Please recommend a book with a little sass/spiciness and/or a Cowboy romance.

TBR: : Probably one of the sassiest series out there.
NEW: : Light, fluffy and funny series. I haven't read this one but I read the one it was a spin off of.

3. Strawberry- Strawberries are best picked and ripest in Summer.

Please recommend a book with a summery/beachy cover, a book set in the summer and/or a book with a chef/baker/food industry character.

TBR: I've never read this one but it's off your TBR and it's one of the most relaxing covers on a book I've ever seen.

NEW: Not a lot of people have heard of Sarah Pekkanen but I really enjoy her books. Plus, look at the cover. I want to go to the beach now.

4. Pralines n Cream- This flavor is made with Praline nuts (which came from France)and caramel.

Please recommend a book with a 'nutty' character, a light-hearted, humorous read and/or a book set in France.

TBR: The female MC is quite nutty and the book itself has humor. I enjoyed it.
NEW: I don't know if you like vampire novels but this one was light and I had a good time reading it.

We don't have very similar tastes, unfortunately :-( I like PNR but am not nearly as dedicated to it as your are ;-) And I usually only read MM when I have to for a challenge or one is rec'd to me that sounds really intriguing. However, I tried really hard to find a couple MMs I've read for your NEW list and maybe a couple other non-MMs you might like. Hope you enjoy!! Let me know if you need any re-picks.

NEW: The Current Between Us - Kindle Alexander -- Has a 4+ star rating, many GR friends have also rated it 4-5 stars. I enjoyed it very much myself.
TBR: The Rosie Project - Graeme Simsion -- Very popular and I rated 4 stars myself.

NEW: The Gentleman and the Rogue - Bonnie Dee -- the character Jem is a bit on the sassy and irrelevant side, a perfect foil for the super serious Sir Alan
TBR: Nowhere Ranch - Heidi Cullinan -- Ranches and cowboys go hand in hand, yes?

NEW: A Taste of Magic - Tracy Madison -- MC is a baker (and a witch), light-hearted PNR

NEW: The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie - Jennifer Ashley -- Many consider Ian 'nutty' both in the mental patient way as well as in a humorous way. And while there is a real medical reason for how he is, it doesn't lesson the humor that can be found in his actions. He is a delightful character and yes, funny at times.
TBR: Shiny! - Amy Lane -- With a cover like this one's, I can only hope there is some humor in this book!

Hi Kristin! I had fun poking through your shelves. I picked two from your TBR and two new to you books for each category. I hope you find a couple to enjoy next month :)

Vanilla: Before Jamaica Lane(TBR) I love, love this series. This was my fave, I think. Darker After Midnight(TBR) next one up for you. Unholy Ghosts(new) I'm rereading this series now and it's just as good the second time! Falling into You(new) angsty and emotional. Great in audio!

Mint Chocolate Chip: Wild Card(TBR) I remember really enjoying this book. Visions of Heat(TBR) another series worth reading & rereading. A Hunger Like No Other(new) fun and super sexy! Long Hard Ride(new) Hot. Like, waaaaaayyyy hot.

Strawberry: Sugar Daddy(TBR) Really great story, definitely emotional. The Sweet Gum Tree(TBR) I let this sit on my kindle unread for way too long. I ended up reading it in one sitting. Unputdownable. Worth the Fall(new) Another great audio book. High Country Bride(new) fun cowboy series with tons of alpha males.

Pralines n Cream: First Grave on the Right(TBR) I'm not sure there's a character out there as nutty as Charley. Iced(TBR) I (surprisingly) really enjoyed Dani in this one. The Pirate Next Door(new) Pirates. That's all. Mind Games(new) Great UF, great characters.

Bonus buddy read: Real I've had this on my TBR for a very long time. If you're up for a buddy read, I'll read it with you :)

1. Vanilla Exclusively Yours by Shannon Stacey is a fun romp with a slighly off center family as writer Joe blackmails old flame/reporter Keri into going camping on the family's annual trip. Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie is probably her most popular book and a lot of fun. I like that the main characters don't really hit it off at first. And you will get hungry for Italian food while reading. Or check out What the Duke Desires by Sabrina Jeffries from your TBR.



Mint Chocolate Chip My favorite mystery series starts with Murder by Impulse by D.R. Meredith. John Lloyd Branson is a great character in a cast of bigger than life characters set in Texas. Or have fun with a halloween celebration gone wrong with Foul Play at the Fair by Shelley Freydont. Or a great romance by Jayne Ann Krentz, Trust Me with a "theater" family



3. Strawberry A couple beachy reads from your TBR - Beachcomber by Karen Robards or South Beach by Lacey Alexander. A cozy series where the MC is a doggie treat/food chef (finding new cozies for you was difficult as you've read so many that I have) with Kneading to Die by Liz Mugavero



4. Pralines n Cream A cozy from your TBR set in France - The Grave Gourmet by Alexander Campion. 'Scuse Me While I Kill This Guy by Leslie Langtry is a interesting book where the family raises assassins. Watching Gin try and juggle being a single mom, dating and killing is fun. Or for a light-hearted romp with crazy characters check out For the Love of Pete by Julia Harper.
