Hi Fran!

You picked a lot of appealing books for me.

I read:
Control (new) - I really enjoyed this erotic romance. :) The whole relationship dynamic was different but I liked it.

The Theory of Attraction (new) - Another winner. :) I liked this somewhat geeky romance with a little bdsm to spice things up. I preferred Control more though.

Knight of Ocean Avenue (tbr) - Love, love, LOVE! Such a warm and fuzzy romance.

All Play and No Work - Well, it's one of those read for erotica type books. Wasn't very outstanding but ah well, it's off my TBR. :D

Wood, Screws, & Nails (new) - Fluffy and enjoyable DILF romance. Quite fun.

No Homo (tbr) - A bit disappointed by this Sterek fanfic. It was a kind of alternate universe with no werewolves in sight. The story was okay but sometimes dragged. I preferred the other one I read which was more Teen Wolf-y in feeling.

I had already read the older Don't Read in the Closet stories previously, so I skipped those. :D

No, you didn't miss it. I forgot I read them. :)

I didn't mark the individual stories and I kind of forgot what I read because I read them when I didn't really bother keeping track of the stories.

Fran | 12286 comments Hi Breann!

I finished a second pick of yours, Attraction (Elements of Chemistry #1; Hypothesis, #1.1) by Penny Reid . I really liked this one. The heroine was so funny and self-aware, I loved her. The jury is still out on the hero, lol, but it's a series so I'm hoping for good things from him in the next books :)

Thanks so much for the great picks! I hope to get to a bunch more in the near future :)

Alexis, I was so excited to read Mud Vein and didn't like it much at all. I am working on On the Fence. That is a much better story. I'm going to try to squeeze Vampire Academy and Halfway to the Grave in but we'll see. Thanks again for such great picks.

~KarenH~ | 11378 comments Hey ♥KathyD♥!

Life has been crazy this month, but I managed to finish three picks anyway...Miss Firecracker, Everyone Loves a Hero....and that's the problem, and Hard to Let Go. I thoroughly enjoyed them all. I had hoped to get through at least one more this month, but unfortunately it's just not going to happen. :( Thanks for the great picks!

Nancy H | 1114 comments Hi Diane~Firefly~,
A HUGE thank you to you for such great picks this month! I have been lucky enough to have had time to read 8 of them and I loved them all. You did a fantastic job of picking for me!

The ones I finished:
What the Duke Desires (The Duke's Men, #1) by Sabrina Jeffries The Grave Gourmet (Capucine Culinary Mystery, #1) by Alexander Campion Kneading to Die (Pawsitively Organic Mystery #1) by Liz Mugavero Exclusively Yours (Kowalski Family, #1) by Shannon Stacey Murder by Impulse by D.R. Meredith 'Scuse Me While I Kill This Guy (Bombay Assassins, #1) by Leslie Langtry For the Love of Pete by Julia Harper Trust Me by Jayne Ann Krentz

I have and will still read, just not by the end of the month, Beachcomber by Karen Robards . I have the second in the Shelley Freydont series that you recommended, but I want to read the first one before I read the second one and just didn't find it anywhere this month so I will be ordering it later, as well as getting South Beach (Hot in the City, #4) by Lacey Alexander , too. I have also in the pre-Good-Reads past read Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie ,which I LOVED!

I was so excited to get so many books from your list read this month, so thank you again for such GREAT picks! (Not that other people haven't picked well for me before, they have and I don't mean any offense to those who have picked for me before, but it's just that I actually HAD TIME to get all these wonderful books read this month!!)

Looking forward to getting started on my August list....they also all look good....hmmm....more decisions - which to start with!

LaurLa | 5100 comments Hi Kristin - I've read two picks this month. Want to read more but I just don't think it's going to happen :-(
But the 2 I read were awesome - thanks again for the recs!!!

July PIFM - From Kristin

Vanilla:
✔TBR: Rock Chick Regret - Kristen Ashley — It’s the highest rated on your challenges-to-pick shelf and there is always a lot of hype around Ahsley’s books - 07.05 ★★★★
Rock Chick Regret (Rock Chick, #7) by Kristen Ashley

Pralines n Cream:
✔NEW: Tangled - Emma Chase — this book had me laughing throughout. It’s written in the hero’s perspective who is a cocky and unashamed womanizer but he is funny as hell! - 07.25 ★★★★
Truce (Neighbor from Hell, #4) by R.L. Mathewson

Madison ✨ | 90 comments Hey Breann!
Unfortunately I only got to read one more before the end of the month but the others are definitely going on my TBR list.

I finished The Pirate Next Door and thought it was good. Not one of my favorites as some parts of the story felt a bit clunky and we kept being told that Grayson was this menacing pirate but I didn't feel that any of his actions really supported it. The story was still really entertaining and action packed enough. Thanks again for the recommendation!
