@Once Upon a Time I haven't read the Matched series yet, but I figure it'll be good. You should give it a whirl.

@Once Upon a Time Hmm. "Every Day" by David Levithan. It's not exactly dystopian. But has a really nice concept!
@Once Upon a Time Looks like you read pretty much all the good YA dystopian books :) you should try exploring another genre.
@Jamira Realistic Y/A can handle. I read most of. John Green books and most of Sarah Dessen books also some Meg Cabot. Have any other good titles or authors?@Tris I want to buy the Iron Fey series box set.
@Once Upon A Time John Green is my favorite author. David Levithan has some realistic YA..How about Rainbow Rowell?
@Once Upon A Time For mystery, have you heard of the Mysterious Benedict Society? May sound childish, but it's an awesome series for both kids and adults. You should also try The Search for WondLa. Awesome read.
I love reading classic lit, and if you want to try it, one of my favorites is The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.
Just if you want to try new genres.
Unwind is a nice dystopian series, if you want to stick to that genre.
Has anyone read Colleen Hoovers Finding cinderella? Do you know a book similar to that? I mean funny and sweet and funny and sweet ? ;) thanks

Just the Play with me :)) thanks for the recommendations :))) ill check them all out
Hannelore wrote: "@Rayna : Mara Dyer is really good! It's mystery, paranormal & romance :)"looking forward to reading the last one in the series. noah is pretty swoon worthy :)
ugh…pretty disgusted with myself. It's a new year, so I thought I'd be starting a new book. Instead, I just keep rereading my favorite parts of previously read books. Any suggestions?I love paranormal, dystopian, or fantasy (not high fantasy though) and i love there to be romance in the story. it doesn't have to dominate the story though.
anything you found un-put-downable i'd love to check out. Thank you!!
I recently read Champion by Marie Lu and since you loved the first two in the series, maybe you could try it :)
Mei wrote: "I recently read Champion by Marie Lu and since you loved the first two in the series, maybe you could try it :)"i started it, and unfortunately i got halfway through and predicted what would happen…then giving in to my bad self i peeked at the ending to confirm it. i think i 've ruined it for myself. i have mixed feelings about that ending by the way
I dont know if this belongs on this thread but I want to read crewel but I dont know if its a good book? Has anybody read it. if its not do you have any books that have this concept. Sorry if this is In the wrong thread.

I thought it was alright, quite an odd one though. It didn't live up to it's pretty cover for me. Maybe you could borrow a copy?

I'm looking for books that are YA and full of action but I've already read a lot in that genre and am having trouble finding more good ones
Hannelore wrote: "Ya, NA, every genre, can be standalone & series, really, I'm open for anything ;)"If you haven't read it yet, then I'd really recommend
as a standalone. As for series, I'd recommend Percy Jackson and the Lux series of you haven't read either of those.

"Thanks C.I.! I've heard that Rainbow Rowell rights really good books :)
Jamira wrote: "@Jalyn Have you read any of John Green books? Cancel TFiOS 'cause that would make you cry. His books are all realistic YA tho. Give 'em a shot!"I'm staying far away from TFiOS. Lol. I read Looking for Alaska, but I wasn't as impressed with it as others seem to be. I'm not a fan of open endings. I haven't read anything else by him, but I do own a copy of Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan that I haven't had a chance to read yet.

I liked the action in those.
was awesome too:)
I would like to read fantasy/paranormal romance that doesn't involve angels, demons, witches. Like based on mythology other than Greek and Roman. Also ya espionage novels like ally carter's
I would like a realisitic YA without paranormal, horror etc. Something like...John Green, Scott Westerfeld etc....
Um...Romance is OK I suppose if it is not the entire book, just one theme out of many...Thanks though!
I really liked these as well but they're only available as ebooks. Lots of twists and turns and mysteries. Not much romance.
I know the covers are a bit pants, but the story is actually really good ☺

I'll have a look - thanks! I have read 'The Summer I turned Pretty' but will look out for 'Pretty Little Liars' and 'Torn'
I really liked Pretty Little Liars, it's getting to be a big series now though! We just finished book 14 in december and there are 2 more still to be published!
Jenni wrote: "I would like a realisitic YA without paranormal, horror etc. Something like...John Green, Scott Westerfeld etc...."Try Dessen's books, they don't have much romance in it.
Also try:
Number in title : 13 reasons why; 50 shades of greyTear jerker : Delirium, the Fault in our Stars, Me Before You
