I agree with Mei. You would probably like
The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay or Hopeless (Hopeless, #1) by Colleen Hoover .

I haven't read it yet, but I have heard that Heart on a Chain by Cindy C. Bennett is also really good. :)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments Looking for a good NA romance.. I read Remember When (Remember Trilogy, #1) by T. Torrest and it's sequel a few days ago, andi like to find something similar. :)

message 206: by O.R.N. (new)

O.R.N. O.R.N. Well, there's always a satirical New Adult book Tweak3nd. Sometimes it's great to read something that is relevant and talks about how our world is now, but does it in a way that is light-hearted and absurd with just enough humor that it makes everyone THINK. Of course the characters are gorgeous, privileged, and filled with so much sexual-frustration it will make your eyes roll into the back of your head, but I don't know, that's just my opinion. Tweak3nd: A Disaffected Look at How it is to be Young and Cool or Whatever

message 208: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm not sure about Stolen, but if you haven't already, you should try Looking for Alaska. One of my favorites!!! Very sad at the end :(

Stormy | 2515 comments Thanks Sarah and Jennifer I will check them out

message 211: by Tati (new)

Tati A month from now, I'll be flying back home after a year away. This will mean two things:

1. Anxiety all over the place
2. Nearly 24 hours traveling (with a long wait at the airport).

So, I'd really love some suggestions for a long and really gripping book, that is able to overcome my anxiety. I'll take anything, as long as it doesn't feature zombies.

message 212: by Jalyn (new)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments Are you interested in books that aren't YA? If you are then I'd suggest

Seven Deadly Wonders (Jack West Jr, #1) by Matthew Reilly It isn't YA, but it's fast paced and really good. It's kind of like The DaVinci Code in that it moves fast and has some fun history stuff tied in :) It's also a series so if you like it then you can read the next 2 books :)

Wicked Appetite (Lizzy & Diesel, #1) by Janet Evanovich Wicked Business (Lizzy & Diesel, #2) by Janet Evanovich aren't all that long, but they're funny.

Watchers by Dean Koontz really good. I've read it many times and I still fly through it!

I'm low on time now, but I'll think on it and see if I can come up with something else that you might like!

message 213: by Tati (new)

Tati Jalyn, than you for the recs! I'll definitely take a look at them!

And the books don't have to be YA, anything that distracts me will do.

message 214: by Jodi (new)

Jodi (readinbooks) | 327 comments Tatiana:

The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1) by Patrick Rothfuss A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin Both are long books.

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments I'm not sure what age you're looking for, but the One for the Money (Stephanie Plum, #1) by Janet Evanovich series has a cop and a special ops type guy from like the second book on, but it's an adult mystery series. Also the Map of Bones (Sigma Force, #2) by James Rollins series is really good if you like some adventure too. That series is also about a special ops team :)
