That's that varnish-flavored whisky, right David?
It is a mellow style of varnish, though ;~)Do you like those peaty ones then, Sharon?
In truth, I prefer a mature brandy.
Hi there I'm Michelle from London. Thanks for letting me join this group. Love Simon Kernick, Linwood Barclay and M J Alridge
hi michelle welcomedavid I do like a peaty one - jura or islay whiskys are nice but I like most single malts - glen moray glenfiddich lagavullan to name a few

Yep that's also good.
Is it commonly available in Shelby County?

I would certainly think so, Ty. Pretty ubiquitous. Fortunately.

Hey guys,
I'm a new author in this genre and I joined this group today. I'm pretty new to goodreads, so I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Really excited to interact with all the avid readers and fellow authors in this group. Forgive me if I violated any rule here, I'm new to goodreads.

Hi Vineeta. This group loves its author members!
Hi. I'm Nikki and the thing I love the most is a good book you just can't put down. I'm reading The Bees at the moment, a sort of thriller/literary fiction mash up. It's odd but superb. No waffle, just a page turning story. Thriller authors I love: definitely Harlan Coben. My dad introduced me to his books. Let's see, who else? Ah yes, SJ Watson, although not read his latest. Love Gillian Fynn, although struggled on the back story start to Gone Girl; once got past that, was a great read. I write, too, but I'm a reader first and foremost. I have 50 books on my 2015 list to get through, so here goes. Great to meet you all :-)
Hi Nikki
welcome, a lot of members enjoy Harlan Coben.
He is mentioned in our polls at the bottom of the home page.
You will have more than 50, once you have read through the reviews

Check out the 3 March PIck It For Me threads to get a feel for it. Jump right in if it appeals. This goes for everyone joining up with the group.

I won't tell you what my younger sister calls me! Mind you, when we were small, I told her she was a little blizzard. At 4 years old she didn't know the word and thought I was being very rude!
