My name is Ishita, I am a 20 something graduate from India. I have always loved reading and used to finish 500 page books in one sitting, but with time this habit got lost and I barely used to read one book in months but this pandemic has pushed me to rekindle my love for books and I hope it continues from here on.
I am very new to goodreads and still figuring out my way through it. I like to try different genres but mystery thriller is my go-to genre always, specially psychological thrillers.
I am looking forward to getting some great recommendations, knowing other's opinions on my favorite books and making new friends. :)

lots of great author recommendations
One to mind for you
Mark Edwards."
Thank you for the welcome and recommendation Sean, will definitely add this in my tbr. :)

My name is Steve and I semi retired a few weeks ago after being a senior clinician for 30 + years. I am still working but on my own terms and when I like on things that energise and interest me.
Looking forward to having a better work life balance and spending more time reading, which has tended to be only done when I was on holiday.
Great to virtually meet you all and join the group
Steve

I used to belong to three book clubs, but one has gone dark due to COVID-19. The other two are chugging along on Zoom. Nonetheless, I'm always searching for good book recommendations, and hope I'll find some in this group. I enjoy mysteries, but enjoy many other genres.
One of my favorite non-fiction books, let's say a True (white collar) Crime books is "Barbarians at the Gate". I also enjoyed "The Greatest Trade Ever" by Gregory Zuckerman. I'd love to hear about works of fiction that explore corporate greed and fraud. Let me know if you know of a good one!

I'm Samantha, or Sam. From the UK, living in New Zealand now. I love books, movies, travelling, and occassionally a good night out. Looking for some good literary discussions!

I'm from the UK, in the south. I have 2 kids and waiting on a puppy (9 weeks yet). I started my love of books listening to Little Women on cassette tapes ! I usually listen to Audio books while driving at work but currently reading on my paperwhite (which I love ) I like lots of different genres but consistently return to psych thrillers. I've just finished Verity by Colleen Hoover. Currently reading The cutting place by Jane Casey .

My name is Sabrina, I live in the U.S. about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia. I love hiking, exploring and reading (obviously) I am looking to become a part of this group because a.) I am in need of some more "bookish" friends and b.) I am always on a mission to find my next favorite book. I thought you guys might be able to help!
Thanks for letting me in the club!

My name is Marliese and I live in the U.S. in Raleigh, N.C. I love running, doing puzzles and reading a good thriller book! I just got back into reading and have really found myself enjoying the mystery/thriller books and look forward to hearing what you guys recommend! Thank you for allowing me to join the club! :)

I am from Wallsend, which is in the North Tyneside area of England (near Newcastle).
I have joined Goodreads to hopefully discover some different authors and some brilliant recommendations for must reads.
I usually read (and write) gritty dark British Police dectective novels, my favorite authors being Ian Rankin, Mark Billingham, Peter Robinson and Peter James, but I also enjoy the underworld Gangster type novels by Martina Cole and Stephen Leather.
I also hope you can all advise me on any groups I could join to share my views on crime thrillers, there are loads out there but I'm not sure which ones are the best for conversation.
I look forward to interacting with you all in the future.
Regards
Andrew James Graham

I just wanted to say hello after joining A Good Thriller a few days ago. I'm a European writer and reader (obviously). I love fast paced mysteries and psychological thrillers.
I'm planning to release a new thriller duology this year. Book 1 is ready and waiting and book 2 hopefully ready for professional editing soon.
Great to meet you all!
Hello,
welcome to Anders, Andrew
Yes lots of recommendations here.
Peter James, I will be going to his house in the next month or so, lives 100 hundred yards away.
One to chat about books, set up a Q and A's and maybe a tennis lesson.
I coached on his court to the previous owners children,
As I write this I look out at his house,
He bought the house for 4.3 million pounds.

As a Scandinavian I have lots of favourites in my “neighbourhood”, like Jo Nesbø, Hjorth & Rosenfeldt, Jussi Adler-Olsen, Yrsa Sigurdarsdóttir, Arlidge, Peter Swanson, Mo Hayder, Fred Vargas, Val McDermid... I could keep on... :) Looking forward to learn about new writers and get inspirations in here!

I am Stephen and I am fairly new to Goodreads. Due to Covid, I didn't get to ski in Trysil this year, so it's nice to hear from a Norwegian!
