LaurLa | 1207 comments I love CEREAL and SERIALS, so I'm going to give this challenge a try! I'll be back to fill in my books.

One question I didn't see in the instructions: are there page minimums for the books?

message 221: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments LaurLa, I'm so glad you like them. I have fun putting them together. We typically like for all books to be at least 200pgs, unless otherwise noted. Good luck and happy reading! :)

Yikes! That's long(ish)... I'll have to re-think a few books but that's what makes it a challenge, I guess!

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments Shorter books, novellas and such are allowed, as long as it's not the majority. Don't be scared off - there's no page number check on these. We only ever do that when specifically noted in rules (i.e. some challenges and all bingo games).

Marla | 261 comments "Serial Addict" Challenge ~ Part 1
Duration: 1/1/23 - 12/31/23 12/31/24
2023 Progress: 8 of 10 categories
2023 Books: 27 of 31+ books
Progress: 10 of 10
Books: 33 of 33
Completed: 7/26/24

Since we are all addicted to serials, I thought it would be a fun twist to run a challenge based on the homophone (yes, I've learned a big, new word for the day) "CEREAL". :)

DURATION: 1 year from sign-up date. This is going to take me at least 2 years

RULES: All books listed must be a part of a series (state the name of the series along with your book choice). In order for a series to be allowed, you cannot have read more than book #1 of that series at the time you start the challenge (unless stated otherwise in that category’s rules). However, if you are currently reading #2 that I would allow. I can’t make it too easy. It is a challenge after all. >:)

Please edit your original list instead of reposting with updates.

# of Books: This will vary depending on the size of the series' you choose to read. If you aim for the whole kit-and-kaboodle, you will have to read at least 31 books in 14-22 series.

NOTE: You may choose to participate in the entire challenge or only parts, it’s up to you, but only those that complete the ENTIRE challenge can truly say, “I’m a Cereal Serial Addict!” HAPPY READING!
