Hi ya'll! I'm starting my journey with books, and as you can imagine, it's overwhelming and hard to start. So I ask for help! Now, to the point, my taste is pretty vague, but there's an issue, straight romances are... well, they're okay, but I'd rather stick to books with no romance at all, or at least lgbt romance as much as possible. Of course, if a book is good and has a straight romance, that's fine, I'm just pointing that out, not because I want to drool over lgbt romances, but because straight romances hit the wrong places for me due to my unique life, if I could call it that. (One book doesn't need them all of course, I'm pretty versatile in my tastes, in things like movies and games which I adore) I'm looking for these vibes: A. Dark themed, gothic, witchy, mysterious etc. maybe even psychotic B. Beautiful, fantasy, vibrant, colorful, very detailed, just dream-like C. Myth themed, magical, otherworldly D. Adventurous, could be sci-fi I suppose, immersive If you read through all that and still need some space to work, my favorite games are: Baldur's gate 3, Alice Madness Returns, Clair Obscur, Elden Ring, Hades 2, Silent Hill 3, Classic Tomb Raiders and Cyberpunk 2077.
