I was under the impression that this is a list for LESBIAN books and stories. If so, does THE LAST MAN, VOL. 1 and 7 by Brian K. Vaughn fit in. Reading the synopsis, it seems to me that the main character is a male. Same goes for STITCHES by DAVID SMALL, LOCKPICK PORNOGRAPHY and many others. Someone needs to clean this up.

Just because the main character isn't a lesbian, doesn't mean that the title doesn't offer a wonderful addition to the collection.
That may be true, MIssy But, as a lesbian, I would like to see lesbian lead characters and stories that focus on lesbians. After all, this list states LESBIAN FICTION in the title. All too often, we lesbians are written out of stories or play a secondary part. I guess as a lesbian, I'm feeling this list is hijacked from the intent. However, the only one that can decide that is the creator of this list.

Also the wonderful art in the book is by Pia Guerra. Well worth your time.
i'd love it so much if Middlesex were removed from here, never to appear again. and yet so many voted for it! what part of it is lesbian, exactly?
"The Last Time I Wore a Dress" is a memoir by a trans man (named Dylan Scholinski) rather than a lesbian.

OK so I've been through all of these books and not one of them are what I'm looking for. This book's about these two women who fall in love (obviously) and the main characters name is Brooke. I've been looking for like a week now and I can't find anything about it. The girl Brooke falls in love with owns a pet store and that's how they meet Brooke takes her moms dog there (i think its a Chihuahua or something idk if that will help) Brooke also thinks shes straight until she meets the store owner. The store owner also lives with her gay friend i forget his name but hes pretty flamboyant and stereotypical lol so if any of this info helps anyone find this book please let me know. thanks.
