88432 I agree that the first one will be easier to do. I personally have more options or the first one's tasks, but I still managed to find a couple from the second list.
If I had to choose, I would go with the first one.

88432 I've had a look at the mini and some of the tasks look difficult. It's given me motivation to read though, but I will avoid finishing anything now until the mini starts.

I've made myself a list of how the books I am reading will fit into the challenge and also books I can easily get a hold of and should be fairly quick reads which would fit one or more of the tasks.

88432 I had every intention of getting a good chunk of a book read today, if not finish one, but I woke up with a massive headache that just would not go away. It finially subsided a couple of hours ago so I'll read some before bed and then tomorrow I will attempt to finish something.

Also I do the same thing Zoe! Pretty much every time!

88432 I've finished a couple of books now. I'm slowly getting back into the reading spirit. I have The Other Side of Dawn (Tomorrow, #7) by John Marsden on the go and I started Fatherland by Robert Harris (my red book) last night. I will aim to finish both over this coming week.
I've also been reading The Cuckoo's Calling (Cormoran Strike, #1) by Robert Galbraith as my physical book and while I will do my very best to finish it by the end of the month, I'm uncertain about if I'll manage it, so I haven't added it to the spreadsheet yet. It's on of those books that I have a hard time picking up, but once I start reading it's okay.

88432 I've had a very slow start to the month in regards to reading. I've started several books but have yet to finish any. My personal life has been a bit challenging, but things seem better now so I'm hoping to finish some books soon.

88432 I was looking at colour books to read for April and I have Fatherland by Robert Harris which would work for 0 Red or 1 Red and The Watch Tower by Elizabeth Harrower for 0 Yellow or 8 Yellow.

88432 I only have a couple of hours of both books left so I'll finish one soon and the other before I sleep. I will get them done even if I have to force myself to stay away to finish them, but it shouldn't come to that :p I'll post when I'm done.

Yes! I will do the bird one with The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater"

I'll be honest, I'm a little relieved now! I realised earlier that I will be quite busy on wednesday so I don't know how much I will be able to read. I'll definitely finish one of the books tomorrow and that gives me more time to work on the final one, which is the longest and one I'm not really looking forward to reading.

88432 Huck starts out as a poor boy with a drunk for a father. He finds a robbers stash of gold which was put into a trust. There are also various scams that he and Tom pull off and by the end of the book he has enough to set out for somewhere new and more 'civilized'.

88432 I finished The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain and The Crown The Official Companion, Volume 2 Political Scandal, Personal Struggle, and the Years That Defined Elizabeth II (1956-1977) by Robert Lacey today. I would not have finished The Crown book if I wasn't reading it for this challenge. It was a bit of a waste of time, just watch the Netflix series.

I'll start Death Sets Sail (Murder Most Unladylike #9) by Robin Stevens a bit later, but I doubt I will finish it tonight.

Zoe if you have a book that fits the bird or band task, you can have one of them!

88432 The book I have for Air is the one I’m least looking forward to reading, so if you don’t mind taking that it would be a great help!

88432 I am back home now. I will finish Artemis tonight as I only have a tiny bit left and hopefully The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn too.

The books I found for the other tasks are:
Death Sets Sail (Murder Most Unladylike #9) by Robin Stevens - white hat on cover
The Crown The Official History Behind Season 3 Political Scandal, Personal Struggle and the Years that Defined Elizabeth II, 1956-1977 by Robert Lacey - Diamond jewellery on cover
Airhead The Imperfect Art of Making News by Emily Maitlis - Air in cover
The Pull of the Stars by Emma Donoghue - bird on cover
The Thunder Girls by Melanie Blake - Music band plot (also has diamond jewellery on cover)

I've listed these in the order I will probably try to get through them. I'm still not sure I'll manage them all, but like I said unless anyone else finishes anything that covers one of the tasks before I do, I will give it my best shot.

88432 I also found potential books for the music band one, diamond jewellery, bird on cover and air in title. I think it is very unlikely that I'd finish them all in time, but if no one else can find matching books, I'll give it my best shot. I dont have any plans for the beginning of next week anyway. I'll list the books tomorrow when I next go on my laptop.

88432 I found a book called Death Sets Sail by Robin Stevens. On the version on my library app one of the women is wearing a white hat. Sorry I can't link it right now, I'm on the app on my phone. The book isn't super long so I hope to listen to all of it on monday.

88432 That looks like quite a bit of yellow again... I think I still have some on my library app, but it'll have to wait till sunday before I can check properly.

88432 I know the answer to this is probably no... but The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain is this hat white enough? If not then this book can still be used for the rags-to-riches task.

I'm in the process of adding anything I might finish before Sunday to the spreadsheet as I go away tomorrow, but I don't expect there to be a whole lot of time for me to read except before bed.
I'll probably check Goodreads once a day on my phone, but as I said I'll be using mobile data so no long browsing sessions for me.

I hope everyone has a good rest of the week and a good weekend. I personally am hoping we get some red cards next month!

I binged the series in about 2 days, I definitely want to read the books.

I finished The Scent of Your Breath last night, but I'm a little baffled at how it is classed as Erotica. There was hardly any... action... It was more disturbing than anything else. It wasn't really worth reading, but it got us a task completed.
