I hope everyone has a lovely Easter weekend!

April Week 2 Update
We still have some colour covers to claim. Two 1 Yellow's, a 7 Yellow, 3 Green, 8 Green and a 8 Red. We also need one more Reverse but otherwise it's just the regular cards.
Mini wise, we are already looking good for that with close to half claimed.
We still seem to be a bit behind where we should be at the halfway point for the month, but we have over half our cards claimed and I know some of you are reading multiple books at once and maybe even put off finishing a few until the mini. I'm not worried about us finishing everything as there is still plenty of time.
With regards to the mini, is anyone particularly creative with writing? We will need to write some bits for the captain's log and I'll be honest, I dread those sort of tasks. I can do it if needed, but if any of you enjoy doing that sort of thing then please go for it.

I hope those last 3 days go quickly and you are able to relax until your due date!
I think the books I have listed also work for multiple tasks. A Storm of Swords definitely fits multiple tasks, but as I haven't touched it yet I'll wait before adding it anywhere.
I'll try and do a mid month update later. My cat seems to be a bit under the weather after he got a vaccine on Friday so it's looking like I'll have to take him back to the vet today so they can check that nothing else is going on with him. He's pretty much just slept for the past few days and has eaten very little, which are both out of character for him. I've been keeping an eye on him in the night so apart from a nap, I've not much sleep which means I'll need a snooze a bit later today.

Full details here.
The spreadsheet has been updated so feel free to begin claiming.

Part 5
⏺️ Captain’s Log: Mission Chronicles📝
Every great journey needs a record—and yours is no exception!
As you read your way through the galaxy, you and your crew will be charting not just the stars, but your experiences among the pages.
You need to log entries for Parts 1-4.
Each log should be about 3–4 sentences long—but feel free to elaborate if inspiration strikes!
For each completed Captain’s Log entry, your team earns 5 extra points!
Here are some suggestions, but feel free to be creative and daring!
🚀 Build Your Own Spaceship – What books inspired your ship's design, power, and purpose?
👨🚀 Select Your Crew – Who joined your ranks from the stories you read? What skills or quirks did they bring?
🌌 Off You Go – As you launch into space, what did your reading journey teach you about exploration, courage, or the unknown?
🌠 End of the Universe – How did it all wrap up? Reflect on where your books took you, and what you’ll carry with you beyond the stars.

A bit of a later update than usual. We still have quite a few colour covers that need claiming. Mostly Yellows, Green and a couple of Reds. All Overload cards are still covered. We only need two more reverse's but otherwise they are claimed.
We seem to have had a slower start to the month than previous ones, but we seem to pick up speed as the month goes on especially when the mini begins. We should get news about this month's mini in a couple of days. As usual, we will share the details when it's up.
I found a series that has all Green covers (6 books in total) and they aren't too long so I could work my way through those once I've got through my claimed books if we still need them. I do have a couple of Yellows in reserve but then are a bit on the longer side so I'm not making claims for those yet. Yellows are going to be our hardest ones to find, I think.

It has meant a slow start reading wise for me this month. I'm part way through two books so I'm hoping to finish one tomorrow and hopefully more will follow after.
How has everyone's start to the month been?

Well done everyone!

We could always swap out my purple for an orange if you get one. Mine works for a reverse as well as many of the letters so I'm happy to swap it out if needed.
